Here is Stevie’s First Cold Process soap all popped out and looking absolutely fabulous. Yellow Oxide + Cappuccino Mica + Super Pearly White = Sophisticated Candy-looking Soap Bars.
Here is the recipe we used for the mini 9-bar-World’s-Best-Mold batch:

THANK YOU! Good tip…
Is there any other ways to test the done-ness besides the tongue zapping method?
Can’t wait to try another batch!
Oatmeal, Milk & Honey – yummmmmmy!
Thank you! It needed a wee bit of sprucing up IMO. =)
Within 5 grams is just fine. Always round the lye amount DOWN if you’re working a scale that is not as accurate as you like. Example:
Recipe calls for 17 grams of lye
Put in 15 grams (not 20)
It is better to be slightly lye-light than lye heavy.
I love how the bars turned out. They just look delicious!
I love it! and they DO look good enough to eat!
Stevie great job.
I just ate my computer screen, they look yummy. Sorry, mayb i didn’t read far enough, what fragrance did you use?
Thanks

PS. Love your new blog header! 🙂
Yummy!! 100x better than my first attempt at the crock pot soap!! More on that later lol…
Question about the lye stuff… how precise does the measurement need to be? My scale goes in increments of 5 grams I think… so I couldn’t get as accurate as the soap app told me 🙁
That soap looks awesome! I want to eat it!
Excellent job!! Stevie your soap looks Amazing!
