It was a very full day at Otion. Erik, Sarah and I worked all day helping the stream of customers coming for help with Christmas gifts.
I made our first Christmas display (is it that time already?) of Peppermint Essential Oil (1st distilation) melt and pour soaps, including some Peppermint Candy soap. The photo on the right is from the “Project Of The Week” site. Click here for the project.
I’ll have photos of all the soap I made, including peppermint jelly roll soap, uploaded tomorrow. I’m pleased with how they all turned out and can’t wait to get your feedback.
I don’t think it will work well with CP; the rolling with the CP just probably isn’t feasible but if someone finds differently, let me know =)
I did not realize how simple it is to make this soap (at least that’s the impression I got from reading the instructions).
Do you think it’s possible to do this on CP? Any suggestions?
Steph
Wow! I love the look of this Peppermint Candy soap you have made! I bet it smells terrific. That’s what I LOVE about MP, the possiblities are endless!!
I was just thinking of making peppermint jelly roll soap yesterday! I’ve just got my melt and pour bases today! Well hopefully everything goes as planned and I don’t end up with a minty mess.
Don’t forget to send me soaps for the contest with Crystal of Donaly!
