Cathy Winsby is the owner of Jovia Handmade Soap out of Sicamous, British Columbia where she lives with her husband and two children. She creates soaps that “call to be touched and beg to be smelled“. You simply must browse her Etsy page for soapy inspiration and if you’re in the market for a present or a necessary treat for yourself. Not only do her soaps smell heavenly but her packaging is to die for. I squealed with excitement when I first opened my box o’ soap from her a few weeks ago. Check out her blog as well, Jovia-life Blog. She’s always entertaining!

Seriously, can you believe the checkboard cold process soap? It’s as pretty in person as these photos. And yes, those soaps are the actual soaps we received. The soap looks crisp, colorful and absolutely fearlessly technical close up.
Didn’t I tell you the packaging was adorable? The product inside it doesn’t disappoint with copious foam and an easy rinseability in the shower.

I love her packaging.
I can’t get over the beautiful, crisp edges of the designs! Such lovely packaging too…
The Checker board is perfect absolutely perfect. Aaaag I am so jealous.
Cathy’s soaps are amazing and so wonderfully creative….I love the packaging too!
I agree with Anne-Marie, we all have those days. Good to admit to them!
Your soaps are wonderful, incredible to be honest. I am going to hop over to your blog and then look at your tutorials!
What awesome soaps and packaging!
I’m ridiculously jealous of her mad skillz.
Aw, glad to have been of help. We all have those sorts of days and it’s always nice to get a little pick me up.
Your soaps are absolutely fabulous. I’m still marveling over that Checkerboard soap. It’s perfect, absolutely symmetrical.
Anne-Marie,
I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself this morning (I have a cold and am misserable) while I was surfing my usual favorite blogs and came across your wonderful post.
A mighty thankyou is in order and I’m so glad you like my soaps! I think I feel much better now. 🙂
