I already have some frosted cupcakes but the frosting came off! Any ideas on how I can stick them back on again?
Becky with Bramble Berry says
Hi Angela! Sometimes if the frosting is a little to soft, it might slip off your cupcake, is that what happened?
A great way to fix this, is to “glue” the two pieces together. Take a little bit of melt and pour soap, melt it down and “glue” the frosting to the cupcake. That will hold it down and you will still have a beautiful bath cupcake!
I hope this helps, let us know how it works out!

The frosting eventually breaks free of the cupcake and floats around. It slowly disintegrates, more slowly than the cupcake, but it does eventually fully dissolve. Depending on how thick and hard it is, it should take around 7 to 15 minutes to fully dissolve.

Anne-Marie,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE those cupcakes! I haven’t gotten to make any yet, but I can’t wait to try it. I read through ALL the posts about these and didn’t see this one yet: what does the “frosting” do when you throw the cupcake into the bath? Does it fully dissolve or does it just kinda float there? Thanks!

Hi Michelle –
Thanks so much for the positive comment! The bath cupcakes just turned out beyond what I would have expected and I know if I had any pastry decorating skills in the slightest that the cupcakes would have looked even better.

Can I say YUMMY!! Those look delicious. But I know, they aren’t to be eaten. You did a great job!! They turned out so perfect. I’m getting lots of ooohs and aaaahs from my children hanging over my shoulder looking at the cupcakes.
