Rhassoul or Bentonite Clay
Champagne
Milk Powder, Half & Half or Creme
Optional:Lavender Essential Oil
1/2 ounce Champagne
1/2 ounce Half and Half
5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
1 ounce Clay (Rhassoul or Bentonite)
1 ounce Milk Powder
1 ounce Champagne (the real deal, not the fragrance oil)
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
See how great your skin feels as the clay helps to remove toxins and the milk acids smoothes and soothes. Champagne is chock full of antioxidants that help prevent free radicals from damaging our skin. Champagne also contains Tartaric Acid which is an ingredient commonly used to lighten skin. Since there is no preservative in the recipe, if there is any left over, store it in the fridge to help prevent growth and rancidity. Shelf life is approximately 2 weeks when stored in the refrigerator.

is there a possible substitude for the champange — we don’t drink in our home and I can’t imagine buying a bottle of it for this.

You could always use grape juice (good polyphenols and anti oxidants) in its place =)

Hi. while i was reading this article that i found most interesting, i realized that, even though comments said it was a good idea, there was no feedback on the actual effects of the mask. in other words, nobody tried it.
So i made a point of trying mask BEFORE commenting and i have to say my skin says thank you. this mask TRULLY ROCKS!!
Cheers!

What a wonderful idea! Thank you for sharing it! I have the other ingredients and I make a champagne soap, so I sometimes have a little extra laying around. I will have to try this!

What a fabulous idea! I LOVE Prosecco, too. It’s my favorite.
I have a vision of sipping champagne or prosecco while enjoying the mask all over my face. the only thing missing? a cupcake! 🙂

Can you use kaolin clay for the mask? It’s sounds really indulgent!

Funny, but we never seem to have excess champagne or half & half in the house to use for non-food purposes. :>
