In the spirit of sharing, I offer up one of my less brilliant ideas. One of the Yahoo Groups I belong to was agonizing over slowing herbal bath tea bag sales. Thinking I might have something to add to the conversation, I took a bunch of random supplies home and tried to reinvent Bath Tea for the current market. I made a bath fizzy in a tea bag. Then, for good measure, I added salt. And because that looked bland, black tea went into the mix as well.
Check out the two videos with the um, “results.” And then, don’t try this at home.

I’ve been a lurker on your blog for bit now but this is exactly why I like your blog so much. You share your mistakes and failures as readily as your successes. Thank you.

Thanks for both testing things out for us, and for giving me a chuckle…you sounded so cute with the ‘one lone bubble’ comment. π

Riveting!! So glad you tried it so I wouldn’t have to. Of course, I know you are already thinking about how you can tweak it to make it work.

Too funny! With my luck it would have fizzed right out of the bowl, all over the floor, the dog would have tried to drink it, and I would have slipped on the way to clean it up.

You know us kitchen chemist have alot of hope. I can tell when you excited to see that one bubble. I know how you feel. I started research on a foaming sugar scrub. ( I asked you about this sometime before). Well the “natural” liquid soap does not lather so one experiment down the drain. But I know what I have to do next time. π
Keep trying, I am sure you will get it.

Your idea was a grand one though. Too bad it didn’t work.
