Every year, the Bramble Berry team gets together to cheer the local collegiate-level baseball team, the Bellingham Bells. It’s a great chance to get out of the office and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. This year we watched them play against the Corvallis Knights, and while the Bells lost the game 2-0, they went on to win the West Coast League Championship! Yay Bells!
Bramble Berrians on deck! The team enjoyed having a reserved patio section during the game. It was a great space to watch the game, and enjoy food catered by a local restaurant.
Snacks included classic summer fare such as hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, chips and macaroni, yum! We invite all the Bramble Berry alumni to the game as well; it’s fun to catch up with everyone. This year, Lily stayed home with dad while Jamisen and I enjoyed some one-on-one time. The past few years Jamisen has been too young to understand the game, but this year he was fascinated with all the rules and action. Of course we took some breaks to run around and burn off some energy.
Our section was lucky to have several visits from the Bellingham Bell’s Mascot, Dinger the Bellinghamster. Below, Mike has some fun goofy around with Dinger. The mascot was a big hit, especially with Jamisen! From left to right, Mark, Viet, Stewart, George and Tylor enjoy the game, food and beverages. Because it’s difficult to get to know everybody in the company during the workday, this event is great opportunity for the warehouse, office, and family and friends to come together.
Our accountant Linda poses for a photo with Dinger the Bellinghamster. Courtney, the Handmade Beauty Box Director, and Dinger hit it off and enjoyed an impromptu dance party!
Right to left, Kris, Brittany, Tina and I share a laugh. It’s always a nice change of pace to get out of the office and discuss non-work related topics!
We can’t wait until next summer’s Bellingham Bell’s baseball game! It was an awesome evening full of good food, warm weather and amazing company.
