I’m so excited; this is the last Facebook Photo of the Week until Bramble Girl makes her appearance. She’ll be here this week =) This particular photo caught my eye for its stunning colors and marvelous execution of the design. And, I’ll admit some bias towards purple and pinks right now. Are you a fan of swirls? This one will inspire your next soapmaking session. Get ready to be wowed…
This colorful photo comes to us from Ashley at UniqueUseables. She said this was her latest (and most favorite) swirled soap she has created yet. It is scented with a blend of Lavender, Eucalyptus and Mint Essential Oils (from Bramble Berry) with a hint of musk, and she was absolutely thrilled how her peacock swirl turned out. I admire how her Peacock Swirl soap turned out (the fine texture and the flowiness of the swirls) and was impressed that she stayed so true to original peacock colors. Want to learn the basic idea on how to make a peacock swirl? Check this video out! You’ll see that Ashley’s soap turned out way nicer than mine. Thank you so much for participating and being a fabulous part of our soapmaking community on Bramble Berry’s website. Keep your eyes peeled for a special little package.

I would love to see a toutorial on making a peacock swirl like this…. It looks like it’s throughout the entire soap, rather than just on top..
I also love the swirls on the other soaps, and would like to learn how to do that.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Good morning, Sly!
You are in luck, Anne-Marie actually did a Soap Queen Short on the Peacock Swirl last year and it turned out so gorgeous! Here is a link to that video:
