I’m headed to the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild Conference tomorrow! I’m so excited to catch up with everyone, make new friends and learn from some of the best minds in the our industry. I’m teaching a 2 hour class on how to make Liquid Soap from scratch.

Here’s me hamming it up for the camera while I get into my safety gear.

Can’t make it to the Conference this year? Don’t worry you can still learn to make Liquid Soap from me. I wrote an E-book with full color photos and step-by-step instructions showing everything I’ll be demonstrating at the Soap Guild Conference this year. It’s only $7.95 and you can get it right here.

PS – I can’t wait to meet some Soap Queen readers and Bramble Berry customers so if you’re a customer, reader, friend or fan, please introduce yourself. I should be recognizable because I’ll be in the I (heart) Soap Queen schwag.

  1. I don’t know if this is true at all but I heard (at the conference) that liquid soap leaves less soap scum on the glass tub shower doors too? (shrugs shoulders) Either way, I have both in my shower and I notice myself gravitating towards liquid soap more and more these days (no rhyme or reason; must be a mood thing). =)

  2. I really believe that liquid soap is really relevant. I have talked to several potential customers who are in the demographics of 18-35 and a large percentage say that they don’t like to “mess with” bar soap; especially with their small children who LOVE TO play with soap and leave it in the tub, bath water, sink, and otherwise just ruin it. Some even asked me for a liquid…. I will get this! and thank you for ALWAYS being forward thinking and relevant! XOXO

Of course, bar soap is totally relevant too, (obviously you knew that already lol!!) just some of my friends and customers said that…..and I would venture to guess that those who said that do not know the wonderful bar soap that is out there yet and so do not understand the world of soap…yet.

  3. The new E-Book sounds great. I will have to get it and give liquid soap making a try.

  4. That sounds like fun! I’ll have to look into it for next year. I hadn’t heard of it. Keep us posted!
