Enter to win a chance to test 8 NEW Summer fragrances!
What’s the S.O.A.P. panel you ask? Soap Opinion (Awesome) Panel members will receive 8 one ounce fragrance samples of our top summer choices for Summer 2011. Give the cutting-edge fragrances a sniff AND test them in any product you like (really, anything you want). Then fill out a survey to help distinguish the top choices. We want your honest opinion and notes on testing!
How to apply: Tweet, Facebook or Blog about your favorite Bramble Berry product (including links) and why you should be selected for the S.O.A.P. Panel. We’ll announce the finalists on Monday, May 16th so get your tweets, posts and blogs done by the end of the weekend! Note: your Tweets should have @brambleberry someplace in the body of the Tweet (but make sure they don’t just get directed directly to @brambleberry or else no one else can see them)!
Fine Print: We will be sending the fragrances out next week and we would like the surveys complete by June 20th, which gives you about a month to test the fragrances. Please keep these dates in mind before you enter. We looking for an accountable and enthusiastic panel!
Have you been on the S.O.A.P. panel before? Feel free to enter again!
Check out the new Spring fragrances that we added from the last Floral S.O.A.P. Panel (read about the new fragrances here) AND see some of the testing from the floral panel here. We had such a great testing team. They really went all out.
Ruth from Sirona Springs was on the spring floral panel. She went above and beyond our testing expectations.
Fine Print: We normally welcome international entries but unfortunately these fragrances cannot ship overseas.

I would love to be a chosen memeber of the summer SOAP testers! I am not an overly high tech person so I have not taken the plunge to blog, tweet, or facebook yet. I have been soaping for about 10 years but am new to Brambleberry. I am glad I have “found” Brambleberry as I have enjoyed the products that I have received in my two orders from you! Hands down however, my favorite is the Kudos Design silicone Rose Heart mold. I used the mold to make one of my soaps for an annual family “Soap Fest”. This year was a special Soap Fest as it coincided with my cousins wedding. I used the mold to make soaps that were the colors of the wedding. It was perfect as the wedding flowers were also roses. The heart shape, well that is a given for a wedding. My family as well as the bride LOVED them! If chosen for the Summer Panel, I will solicit feedback from my family as well as I routinely use them as a sounding board for new ideas. We like to use any get together for “soapy happenings”. An upcoming graduation party will be perfect!

I would LOVE, love, love to be a panel member! I have posted a note on my blog, uniquegardenessences.blogspot.com, along with links to my favorites, but I have to say that, participate or not, I love BB! The sample that I received when I ordered my pink grapefruit eo got me going. And the ones that I subsequently received, well they have conspired to make me a fragrance convert! Lol!!

How fun! Posted your info on my facebook, as well as my page for my soap company (It Getz You Clean).
Love your products. Keep up the good work!

I’d love to be a team. I’m unemployed and this would give a chance to work with something different and give me something to do. Plus, I would get to know my opinion matters. So here is my link on my blog for Bramblerry. hope I win a chance to contribute.
PS. I don’t tweet so here is my blog link http://thetyts.blogspot.com/2011/05/lotion-and-soap.html

I just sent my 2nd order to Bramble Berry, I was very pleased when I received 1st order. Your eo is of the best quality and your butters too! I was extremely happy to find a free sample with my order and while I would not normally order Plumeria, it is a wonderful scent and a hit at the market. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be on your summer panel 🙂
Thank you,
Shannon Floyd

I would love to participate and share in the SOAP testing experience. I am fairly new to soaping…less than 6 months but I am the type that jumps in with both feet and so I didn’t want to start with anything easy. I had to start with all the “cool” things you can do with MP and CP soap. Of course, with that comes a tremendous learning curve that has been wonderful. I know what ricing, seizing, glopping and all other “bad” forms of CP soap are since I have had fun learning about all of them. One thing you would get with me as a tester is the “novice factor”. The scents wouldn’t be able to hide behide any expert skirt at my house.
My favorite BrambleBerry “product” would have to be – hands down- the creativity and talent of the BrambleBerry Team. You have no idea how wonderful- and can’t put a price on -the creations, instructions, and fun ideas that are generated and shared each and every day. I absolutely would not be soaping without the cool ideas, pictures and tutorials your team provides.

Blogged about it! 🙂 This is such an awesome opportunity- I’m really excited for everyone who gets to participate!

Thank you! Glad you liked the post and labels.
Unfortunately, I just signed in to my blogger page to find that Blogger ATE MY ENTRY! *sob* It’s just gone… should I type it again?
Cheyenne Canfield says
Whoops! Apparently the entry-eating was accidental data corruption on Blogger’s side… here’s a link with details, for anyone who has also lost entries:
http://buzz.blogger.com/2011/05/blogger-is-back.html
Apparently missing entries should reappear within the next few days. 🙂 So I should rephrase my question- if the entry doesn’t reappear by the end of the weekend, should I type it again?
Thanks again!

w00t! Looks like the blog posts are back! 🙂

I would love to be selected as a member of your 2011 Summer Soap Team! I have been making handcrafted soap seriously for about a year now. I began making it because I loved using it so much. I quickly became hooked on the therapeutic value of soapmaking. I own and operate a busy insurance agency by day and found that I love the feeling I get from creating something so lovely yet usable and practical. As most Artistians, I really love the “Wow Factor’ that I get from soap making. Just hearing people rave about something that I created sends me back to the “soap pot” again and again! Making soap is just fun! I also love the fact that it is an Art and a Science. It is something that my husband & I enjoy together. I am the Art & he is the Science! We love it so much that we have decided to form a micro business venture. We both already have a broad business background so this just seems like a natural direction for my “addiction” to take us. I have time scheduled off from my job during the last week of May to make soap. This is why you should choose me. I am taking my vacation to make soap. And I can’t wait! It is difficult for me to choose my favorite Brambleberry product because I love everything that I have purchased. I went to my soap kitchen and looked around and then quickly realized that my favorite item at Brambleberry would be the Essential Oil Synergy Blends. Take a look at this link: https://www.brambleberry.com/Synergy-Blends–C25.aspx. Right now my favorite is the Calming Synergistic Blend but I also love the Citrus Synergistic Blend. So many choices!

I have been a faithful Bramble Berry customer for almost 10 years now! I always get my shea, mango and cocoa butter from you ( I also love the coffee butter)& I love the margarita and ginger peach lip balm flavors! I recently ordered a few of my essential oils in 16oz sizes because you had the best price.
The fragrance oil that sticks out for me is your Feliz Navidad Christmas fragrance, I added it to a batch of lotion and I use it year round. The apple and citrus notes mixed with the spices is absolutely wonderful!
My Mother orders your mineral makeup kits and is very impressed. She is even talking me into getting started with the mineral makeup.
My orders always ship quickly and I know they will arrive on time and in perfect order.
Can’t wait to see what fragrances you come up with next!

I would love to be considered for the S.O.A.P. panel! Love everything Brambleberry… scents, molds, and the colorants!
Always experimenting with new scents and love to introduce them to customers.
This past year we went to the 18-bar Birch wood mold and love love love it! Love that the bars are all the same size.
My favorite Brambleberry scent … this week is: Creamsicle! Brambleberry has the BEST Creamsicle available.

We have been using Brambleberry products since about 1999 or so. We ordered the Pink Grapefruit and still love that one!
Thanks Anne-Marie & all the folks at Brambleberry for being there for us soapmakers!
Helen Gilmour says
I would love to be considered for this panel. Soap-making is my passion; it’s almost my addiction.
Right now, the neon pigments are my favorites, but the way that Brambleberry are constantly adding to their store, it won’t be long until I find something else that will become my favorite. That’s the beauty of the Brambleberry store: it’s always changing, always introducing exciting new products that catch my eye and give me creative ideas. When I look at the website, my mind goes into overdrive thinking about how I could use each of the products on offer. And because of that, I feel bad for my husband.
After a long day at work, my husband begins to tell me about his day, but I am only half-listening; the other half of my mind is thinking about soap. If he only knew! I hope he never guesses, because if he gave me the ultimatum: me or the soap, it would be a close-run thing! I’d hate to lose a good man…
When it comes to soap-making, I love to create, and I love a challenge. I like to experiment with different fragrances and different recipes; I just hope I don’t someday blow the house up! I can just imagine myself standing in the smoldering wreckage, holding a mixing dish and a bottle of one chemical or another, hair standing on end, face blackened, smoke gently rising from my shoulders. As I look around the wreckage in a daze, I see my husband emerge from a pile of debris, scowling over at me, saying “Okay, let’s get one thing straight: you only do your soap-making when I’m not in, okay? And we need to take out homeowner’s insurance ASAP.”
Courtney says
We are LOVING the new neon colorants too! Perfect timing for summer =)

I would love to be chosen for the “Summer S.O.A.P. Team”. I started doing MP soap as a hobby and enjoyed it so much I am working at turning it into a small home based business. I love doing and learning new things, and helping others. So I think that this would be a perfect opportunity to be able to do all of the above.
Doing – have never been on a panel like this before.
Learning – which of the 8 new summer scents would be my favorite. knowing how nice all of Bramble Berry® products are, the choice of ONE favorite would/will be very hard to do.
Helping – Giving a heart felt opinion on the reasons that I like the new scents and how they work.
To date I can’t say as I have a single favorite Bramble Berry® product. I have ordered bases, fragrances, molds, kits, and tools. Have also received outstanding customer service. Enjoy working with all of the products and dealing with any of the staff. I can say that since I found Bramble Berry the site, in it’s entirety, has become my favorite OVERALL SITE for ordering my soap making supplies.

I know you said international can’t enter this one. Can Canadians enter this SOAP panel?
Courtney says
I know Bellingham is so close to the Canadian border but Canada is still considered an international shipment. I’m soooo sorry about that! I wish there was a way around it.

I would also love to be on the panel again. I am going to be making some new products, so it would be fun to try the DOs in those as well as in CP. I will tweet about my favorite product night. 🙂 I ordered my favorites from last time and can’t wait for them to arrive!
