Sun Rocket, a WA DC based company, competing in the difficult market of VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol – or, in laymen’s terms, talking over the internet instead of landlines) just went kaput. It was lights off for the company after burning through $100 million in venture capital in a little over three years.
As late as April, the company was talking up their successes and growth rate, boasting that they had over 200,000 VoIP subscribers, doubling their growth rate.
Quick, someone tell their web site designers that they’re out of business. The Sun Rocket web site still trumpets their low pricing and introductory offer.
