The initial juice will spike your blood sugar, temporarily making you feel better. Those fruit sugars dissipate their energy quickly though. So, you’ll be back in your same low-blood-sugar space within just an hour or so. Toss in some longer-lasting-harder-to-digest protein though? You’ll last for at least a few hours.
Almonds are another one I always keep handy by my desk for a nice, stable snack boost.

Just one question…do you think a “fruit” cupcake is classified as low carb???? Just a thought π
And darn about no melons for a fruit snack, I have been enjoying melons for lunch all summer here.

OMG! I totally need this. I’m going to check that blog asap. I suffer from low-blood sugar and when I get shakey I reach for the OJ but for some reason it isn’t working any more π Off to the blog.
