I got interviewed for another blog this week (Breakfast with the People). They asked a funny follow up question about my post where I mentioned Chris was painting a new bathroom cabinet!

Here is a photo of the project all done. Notice how the cabinet matches the walls and tile?

I’m a lucky girl. Now I have my very own mirror and space so I don’t have to elbow Chris out of the way to get ready in the morning. Just another reason why crafty husbands are the best kind to have.

  1. The pad of paper is really more for my sanity. Just as I am drifing off to sleep at night, my to-do list starts rolling through my head. If I don’t write it down, it probably won’t happen because I won’t remember in the morning. The paper is in the bathroom so I don’t wake Chris to turn on the light to start writing! =)

I had never thought of the side of a sneaker to write on. That’s a great idea!

It’s been just a couple days that I have had my own bathroom and I am relishing being able to get ready without needing to shove Chris out of the way. =) Yes, Carrie, he is a total keeper!

  2. So clean! And a pad and pencil. Ah…. there is a true sign of a woman into her business! Always writing thoughts down, because you never know when they’ll hit you.

I have a tendency to be out when those random brilliant thoughts occur and since I always use up my paper fairly quickly, my hands are almost always marked up with quick ideas or phone numbers in lovely ball point pen. (Sometimes I have no paper or pen, but have a half of a crayon in the bottom of my bag. The side rubber part of the sole of a sneaker works really well….) REdicuLOUS! I guess with this bit of info I have shared, I can never claim to have it all together with a pad on hand. 🙂
