For future reference, bath melts plus bath salt – not such a good combo.
You’d think it’d be great plus great equals supa! great but, not so much.
I made a solid bath melt recipe and poured it over dead sea salt. Then, I scooped the mixture into the tub. The reasoning was that salt would purify and the oils would moisturize. Instead, neither did either.
Instead, the lumps sat in the bottom of my tub, taunting me. I had to cut the tub time short. It was tragic.

Oh our poor tub gets clogged all the time. My dear husband does something with an air hose to force my crazy oily experiments through the pipes to allow for water drainage – at least once a month. He is such a patient guy …
As for a housekeeper, ha ha … that would be Moi! I end up scrubbing that tub at least twice a week with all the oil that is in the salt and sugar scrubs, badly formulated soaps and different bath time experiments. Otherwise, someone is bound to break a hip just trying to get in and out of that tub!

After looking at your tub experiments, glad I am not your housekeeper. I sure would be wondering about you, LOL.

Oh, bummer! I wish I understood chemistry well enough to know why that happened.
