This is what happens if you try to unmold the 3-D soap early – whoops. The hot portion of the soap splooshed out and ruined a perfectly lovely bar of soap. Patience is your friend when using the 3-D Soap molds.
The beauty of melt and pour is that the colored soap can always be chunked up and used in another bar of soap. A mistake is never really the end when working with a remeltable base.

I love peeking at my CP soap and so far, there’s been no long lasting damage to my CP soap for peeking early.
The same, obviously, can’t be said for the soap above! =)

I know the feeling. It is so hard to have patience. I’m actually pretty good with M&P, but CP, OMG, I just can’t stop “checking”. It almost feels like a gift under the christmas tree. I think that’s why I love soapmaking.

I pour a lot of my cp soap into molds and it is hard to not unmold too soon. I ruin a lot of the details by hurrying the process. But I love molded soaps!
