Thank you Carrie Gigi from Mud Puddle Girls & Under The Willow Gifts for sending me her cupcake soap. Isn’t it delicious looking? Trust me, it’s delicious smelling as well. The cupcake came in its own perfect little cupcake box with a perfect label and color scheme
I always hear people say, “Oh it looks so pretty! I don’t want to use it.” As a soapmaker, I’m always bummed when I hear that. My stuff looks great but it performs even better. So, note to people that get gifts of my soap, use it!
Carrie Gigi, I’m going to honor your artistry and actually use this perfect little morsel of creativity. I’m sure my life will be richer (but thighs no larger) because of it.
If you want a little sweetness in your shower, check out the line of soapcakes here.
Thank you!

My mother was the exact same way as everyone elses family. I even told her once I wasn’t going to give her anymore if she wasn’t going to use it. LOL!! I often hear “it smells to good to use” LOL!! A compliment YES, but as AM said EXASPERATING!
Carrie, as usual you made a beautiful soap. I love the cupcake and I bet that maple sugar smells awesome! I have to admit, I would have saved it too 🙂 I saved the ornament soap *blushing

What is up with our own family members not wanting to use our soap? That’s cute and flattering but also mildly exasperating! =)
Thankfully, my parents both use up my soap and love it. So, that makes me happy.
ShadesofGrey, I’m so glad you like the Tomato Leaf! I love it too and that’s why we sampled it – it’s one of the unsung heroes of our line and I really want it to sell more. =)

Drool! This is scrumptious looking.
(BTW, I love the smell of the Tomato Leaf scent that you included in my Brambleberry pkg that I got today! It is not like the nasty real tomato plant smell (we grow a ton of tomatoes because we can a ton of them), but a much more happy and heavely version…oh if only real tomato plants could smell like that! Can’t wait to try it!!)

My dear MIL would do the same thing. She was 92 when she passed and she had a bar of soap in every window so the breeze would carry the scent. I told her “use them! you get them for free”
I loved that lady and miss her.

That looks good enough to eat = )
I have to force my mom and grandmother to use my soaps too!
My family doesn’t get why my soaps are better than the nasty commercial stuff they use though. I’m a bit of a black sheep too…I have a family full of Mary Kay reps and die hard MK users = 0

I wonder if any of them have discolored over the years, lol. I should ask her.

Ah- Thank you Anne-Marie, & I am so glad to hear you will be using this Crumb Cupcake soap! There’s real Vermont Maple Sugar inside that soap goodie.
And to sunshinemom- My mom does the same thing. What are we going to do? 🙂

Love the cupcake soap. I make soaps for my Mom. She told me the other day that she still has all of them. I have been sending her soaps for over 5 years… she hasn’t used any of them! She hasn’t even unwrapped them 🙁 She said she can’t destroy my lovely soaps. She doesn’t even burn the candles I have made her, lol.
