A big shout out to another local Washington company Moon Valley Bees & Botanicals. There is a significant plug in the February Herbs for Healthmagazine. Their Lotion Bar was featured in the “Product Showcase” along with a full color photo of their packaging and the bar. I bought their Lotion Bar at the Pike Street Market a few months ago because I was so enamored with their custom molding for the Lotion Bar. The mold helps differentiate their lotion bar from others in the crowded bath and body care market.

Moon Valley is wonderful – I think their Pike Street Market booth is a great example of positioning, branding and marketing. Then, they back that up with very nice quality products. We’re lucky to have them in WA!

Hi,I’m an extended friend. I made those bars for a summer on the farm in Arlington. I was at Pragtri Farm growing, harvesting, and drying the plants/herbs used in their products as well as pouring the mix into the molds. It was a wonderful 3 month internship that I completed for credit to graduate from Huxely College of the Environment at Western Washington University. I’m just so ticked to see you post this and to know that Kim and Aaron are getting broad aclaim. thanks

Hm, I haven’t looked for those tins but have you tried http://www.essentialsupplies.com or http://www.sunburstbottle.com yet? Those would be the two places I would start with. Since they both specialize in packaging, if they don’t have the tins I’m sure they can direct you to someone that does.

I’m actually doing the same with my lotion bars, or at least trying too. I cannot for the life of me find those tins. I also want to use them for my shaving soap. *sigh*
