The most popular baby names for 2007 is out (thank you, oh Government). Jacob and Emily are the King and Queen for this year! Click here to go read them all (and see where your kid’s names rank).
PS – The cute kid on the left? That’s Norman’s (Operation’s Manager at Bramble Berry) strapping young son. Shockingly, his pedestrian name did not make the list for the year.
Quoting from the site:
“Jorgen is not in the top 1000 male names for any year of birth in the last 15 years.”

I think Emily ans Jacob will be at the top for many years.

Cindy, Sorry about that misleading title. =) We’re still a few years off from any major announcements but Soap Queen readers will definitely be among the first to know! =)
Audrey, You are quite the trend setter! Give it ten more years and Rylan will be hitting the top of the list.
Carrie, Jorgen is a bit bigger now (an understatement) but just was such a cutie when he was born. We have another Brambleberrian due any second now (she’s full term now) so there should be more cute pictures any day now.
Duane, Your philosophy is a good one. And one my Dad shares … what he wouldn’t give for a grandchild right about now … =)
Duane and Nancy says
Our newest granddaughter, 2 1/2 months, isn’t on the chart with Brinlee but the grandson we are expecting in late July/early August ranked 216 just last year with Braxton. I don’t care what the kids name our grandchildren, as long as they know I’m Papa!

He’s a cutie!
My son’s name, Rylan, only came onto the charts in 1997 with a rank of 844, in 2007 it was 256.

Do I hear baby talk???? 🙂
Jorgen is just precious.
Cindy says
Whoa! When I saw that title you had me pretty intrigued! But, I guess not…
Lynn says
Jorgen will be a name easy to remember and not get lost among all those with the same name! Good for Norman and wife! Cute kid to boot.
