Here’s another fun project perfect for the holidays on Soap Queen TV!
In this episode I share how to make Orange Slices, which you may remember from this series of blog posts I did in 2008. Using our Orange Spice Fragrance Oil, this project has been transformed into a wonderful Holiday treat.

What’s a good alternative to the orange mica colorant? It’s not available on brambleberry.com. I’m considering tangerine wow.
Thanks for the tutorial it’s great!

Hi Jami!
We no longer carry the Orange Mica, but you can substitute the wonderful Tangerine Wow! for it.

If the Tangerine Wow! is too bright for you, you can use a little bit of Brick Red Oxide or Brown Oxide Pigment to darken it a bit.

They do add a nice rustic packaging look, don’t they? It’s a surprisingly simple packaging option.

All of the episodes are also on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/user/so… and you might have better luck with YouTube instead of the Vimeo server? Keep me posted if that doesn’t work for you. =)))

I love these orange slice soaps, but I have a question. When I play my
Soap Queen Videos the sound & picture keep breaking up. I’ve been trying
to Join Vimeo – I think it went through?? Is there anything else I should be
doing? It takes forever to watch a short video & it’s driving me crazy!!
Thanks, Joanne

Funny! It’s always my least favorite part (go figure). Then again, I don’t think anyone likes to see themselves on camera!
Anne-Marie says
Thanks Debbie. That is high praise coming from you. =) I love the way the white soap looks as it’s spreading between the pieces. =)
