We have had a fantastic weekend with family. I feel so lucky that my folks were able to come up for the entire weekend. We explored Stoney Ridge Farm today and wow, was it packed full of families! I haven’t seen that many families in one place ever! Of course, once we visit Disneyland, that statement will probably change.
Jamisen has never seen farm animals before. In fact, besides a few adorable niece and nephew dogs, he’s never seen ANY animals before. He seemed interested.
We dressed him up for the occasion in his Farm Cow outfit. He was such a good sport.
And of course, we picked our own family pumpkin from the awesome pumpkin patch. We were SO proud of our Pumpkin!
Today, I have a Mastermind Business Meeting to work on goals for 2012. Since becoming a parent, my measure of ‘success’ has changed so this will be an interesting and challenging day as I work to define what I want for myself, my business and my family life next year.
That is the cutest cow I have ever seen! Adorable! Great pictures, sure looks like a fun day!
It was really fun! And I never would have done it if I didn’t have Jamisen so we were all thankful to have an excuse to make such fun memories =)
What a wonderful costume, he looks very much at home at the farm.
Dressing him as a cow definitely made him a little farm boy =)
We have the same cow costume! My sister’s boys and my son and daughter all wore it for their first Halloween. That is adorable!! Enjoy every minute. Tricia F.
Great minds think alike re: the cow costume. There’s a tail and it’s adorable. Post a link if you put up photos. I’d love to see them.
Beautiful pictures! Wish ya’ll lived closer – we grow pumpkins (in MI). Jamisen looks so happy. Is his tummy better now that he’s eating solid foods?
His tummy is about … 50% better? Some days, he pukes SO much (randomly!) and I’m finding out that carrot puke stains (whoops!) but it’s definitely much better now that the food has heft and stays down in his stomach. Thanks for remembering and asking =)))
I love the one with the whole family and the pumpkins behind you in the field.
Good thing you didn’t take him to a dairy farm – you might have lost him dressed like that. LOL
LOL! You are too funny. =)
We grabbed a random person to take the photo of the whole family and he totally was an awesome photo hound for us. He took 3 for us so we had a few to choose from =))
Wow, that baby has grown and he is soooooo cute! I just had to comment after I saw that little outfit. Sooo cute!
Blessings,
Lori
I know! SO FAST! He doesn’t even look like the same kid as when he was born. It’s amazing how defined his features are getting. =)
It looks like you had so much fun! I love the cow outfit!! 🙂
It was surprisingly fun. I love being a Mommy because it definitely opens up all kinds of interesting opportunities for me like that. I never would have gone to a pumpkin patch otherwise =)
I wonder if they make that cow suit in my size…
Funny! That’s what someone at the office said too =)
Very cute! Good luck with setting new goals and priorities for 2012 🙂
Thanks! My theme for our family in 2012 is ‘Building’ – building our savings account, building on the family and trying for a sibling and building our relationships with eachother through sustained, deliberate family time. It was really great to have a half day to work on that and get that clarity.
That’s the cutest and happiest cow I’ve EVER seen! Such an adorable boy and a beautiful family… you are very blessed, Anne-Marie!
Thank you Mercedes. That is the happiest cow I’ve ever seen too! =) He is such a happy little boy (most of the time) and we feel blessed every day.
