I totally did not want to run today. The wind was at 18 mph, it was cold, and it’s Washington so the weather was drizzling and gray. But, I’m trying to run 50 miles in 30 days and, this morning (pre-run), I was at a sad 29 miles.
I’m happy to report after the difficult and snail run below (take a look at how slow I got near the end – ugh) that I’ve broken through mile 30 and am all the way up to 32 miles. Only 18 miles to go before Christmas Day.

If you got the Nike Runner Tracker-thing, we could all keep each other accountable for our running.
Just one more thing to add to that growing Christmas list! =)

Keep pressing on! Way to go! I wish I had the desire or the energy to run… but it is so cold over here in Pullman, WA I just can’t get the motivation! Last year, I finally did in January… maybe that will happen in 2008 too!

Great job! Keep up the good work. Keep putting on the pressure to get me off my hiney. Did you get any rest this weekend? btw – Love the Christmas pic of you and the boy – that one and the one of Pompeii.

That is fantastic! Running seems to be the only way for me to control my weight and a friend and I will be doing the run-walk every day after Christmas along with WW to take off all the holiday cheer(from the past year). It is bitter cold here and we work graveyard so we are always tired, but….once you get out there and get going you feel so much better.
Keep up the good work, I can see we will need to set a goal to work towards.
