You know what that means? It’s time for ice cream, hot dogs and cold lemonade.

Here in Bellingham, Washington, we haven’t had a true summer’s day yet. It has been raining and thundering and hailing and raining some more.

The sun is shining today (finally) and we are loving every precious minute of it. I found these soaps on Etsy. They are so realistic that they remind me of summers as a little girl; the memories of ice cream dripping down my entire arm because I couldn’t eat it fast enough or of my burned veggie hot dogs over the campfire because I lacked patience to “slow roast” it. And of course, there is nothing like lemonade to quench your thirst after an exhausting game of boccee ball.

Find the Hot dog and Lemonade soaps by Mollycoddlesoap on Etsy here and the Ice cream soap by Plumberrylane on Etsy here.

  2. The weather is SO MUCH NICER today (yes, I am really shouting with delight and euphoria). It must have been the summery post with the hot dog soap.

    =)

  3. A-M – hope you’re getting the same weather that Portland is today… certainly looks and feels like summer finally!

  4. These are so amazingly in their life-like-ness! It’d be great to have them so that guests can do a double-take when they use the bathroom. LOL!

  5. Wow, those are some realistic-looking soaps! Very nice! Although I’m not too crazy about that hotdog soap, it just seems wrong to me somehow. I did find Mollycoddlesoap’s denture soap (in her Etsy store) funny though and worried that someone might put them in their mouth by mistake! Although the same could be said of these food soaps. 😉 Talk about washing your mouth out with soap…
