<p>Rebatch is a technique that involves melting shredded cold process soap and customizing it with additives. This Lingonberry Rebatch Soap is made on the stove top, but you can also use a slow cooker or a double boiler. The key is low and slow heat to prevent burning.</p>
<p>The recipe is scented with a blend of <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Spice-Fragrance-Oil-P6956.aspx?ItemId=66050062&amp;Options=10976" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil</a> and slightly sweeter <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cranberry-Fig-Fragrance-Oil-P3933.aspx?ItemId=66050066&amp;Options=7977" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cranberry Fig Fragrance Oil</a>. <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cranberry-Seeds-P4089.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cranberry seeds</a> are added for exfoliation and interest. <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Rose-Hips-Whole-P5629.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rose hips</a> are placed on top to give the bars a finishing touch.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70758 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap3_700px.jpg" alt="LingonberryRebatchSoap3_700px" width="700" height="1005" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap3_700px.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap3_700px-209x300.jpg 209w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap3_700px-348x500.jpg 348w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve never made rebatch soap before, learn how in the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpisqWF0XaY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wildflower Rebatch Soap video</a>. In both projects we use the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Grated-Rebatch-Soap-Luxury-P4543.aspx?ItemId=66050061&amp;Options=7349" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grated Luxury Rebatch Soap</a>. It&#8217;s made in-house with skin-loving ingredients like <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Organic-Cocoa-Butter-Wafers-P6365.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cocoa butter</a>, <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Shea-Butter-P3220.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shea butter</a>, and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Mango-Butter-P3221.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mango butter</a>. We recommend using it within 1-2 months. Older soap will need more distilled water and it will take longer to soften.</p>

1 oz. <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cranberry-Fig-Fragrance-Oil-P3933.aspx?ItemId=66050066&amp;Options=7977" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cranberry Fig Fragrance Oil</a><br />
0.5 oz. <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Spice-Fragrance-Oil-P6956.aspx?ItemId=66050062&amp;Options=10976" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil</a><br />
1 Tbsp. <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cranberry-Seeds-P4089.aspx?ItemId=66050064&amp;Options=6580" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cranberry Seeds</a><br />
<a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Rose-Hips-Whole-P5629.aspx?ItemId=66050065&amp;Options=8998" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rose Hips</a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Click below to add everything you need for this project to your Bramble Berry shopping cart!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FRAGRANCE PREP:</strong> Measure 1 ounce of Cranberry Fig Fragrance Oil and 0.5 ounces of Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil into a glass fragrance oil-safe container. Set aside.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE:</strong> Place a large sauce pot on the stove and turn the heat onto medium. You can also use a double boiler or a slow cooker.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>TWO:</strong> Add as much rebatch soap as your pot can comfortably hold &#8211; we added about 30 ounces at first. Pour in about 2 ounces of distilled water.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70742 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-1.jpg" alt="ONE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>THREE:</strong> Allow the soap to heat up and soften. Stir every 30-60 seconds to prevent burning. After a few minutes, the soap will begin to condense into a very thick paste. Add the rest of the rebatch soap and 2-3 ounces of distilled water.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70746 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/THREE-1.jpg" alt="THREE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/THREE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/THREE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/THREE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FOUR:</strong> As the soap continues to cook, it will become softer. Keep stirring every few minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70740 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FOUR-1.jpg" alt="FOUR" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FOUR-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FOUR-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FOUR-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FIVE:</strong> Eventually the soap will take on the texture of very thick mashed potatoes with a slightly glossy look. All the small pieces of rebatch soap should be melted and incorporated.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70739 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-1.jpg" alt="FIVE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SIX:</strong> Turn off the heat and add the fragrance oil mixture. Stir in thoroughly.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70744 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SIX-1.jpg" alt="SIX" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SIX-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SIX-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SIX-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SEVEN:</strong> Add 1 tablespoon of cranberry seeds and thoroughly mix in.<br />
<em>NOTE: Feel free to add more seeds if you like a very scrubby bar. You can also use less.</em></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70743 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SEVEN-1.jpg" alt="SEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SEVEN-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SEVEN-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/SEVEN-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><strong><br />
EIGHT:</strong> Quickly transfer the soap into the mold. Tap the mold firmly on the counter to help settle the soap into the mold.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70737 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/EIGHT-1.jpg" alt="EIGHT" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/EIGHT-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/EIGHT-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/EIGHT-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>NINE:</strong> Use gloved hands to press the top of the soap to give it an even and smooth appearance.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70741 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/NINE-1.jpg" alt="NINE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/NINE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/NINE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/NINE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>TEN: </strong>Working quickly before the soap cools, place rose hips down the length of the mold. Place them where you&#8217;d like the middle of the bar to be.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70745 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TEN.jpg" alt="TEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TEN.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TEN-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/TEN-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>ELEVEN:</strong> Allow the soap to fully cool and harden for 24 hours. If the mold pulls away easily from the soap, it&#8217;s ready to unmold. If not, let it harden for another day.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70738 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ELEVEN.jpg" alt="ELEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ELEVEN.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ELEVEN-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ELEVEN-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>TWELVE:</strong> Cut into bars. Rebatch soap doesn&#8217;t require a 4-6 week cure time like cold process soap does. But allowing the bars to cure for about 2 weeks will ensure extra moisture evaporates, creating a harder and longer-lasting bar. Enjoy.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70760 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap1_700.jpg" alt="LingonberryRebatchSoap1_700" width="700" height="1012" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap1_700.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap1_700-208x300.jpg 208w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/LingonberryRebatchSoap1_700-346x500.jpg 346w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>

Rebatch soap doesn’t require a 4-6 week cure time like cold process soap does. But allowing the bars to cure for about 2 weeks will ensure extra moisture evaporates, creating a harder and longer-lasting bar. Enjoy.</div></li></ul></div></div>

<p style="text-align: left;">These bath bombs are made with skin-loving <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Seed-Oil-P6946.aspx?ItemId=66699093&amp;Options=11003" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lingonberry seed oil</a> and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Spice-Fragrance-Oil-P6956.aspx?ItemId=66699094&amp;Options=10976" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil</a>. The berry design is painted on with a mixture of mica and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/99-Isopropyl-Alcohol-16-oz-P5682.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">99% isopropyl alcohol</a>. The end result is a festive, gift-worthy bath bomb.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The first step is making the base with the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Bath-Bomb-Mold-Package-Plastic-P5913.aspx?ItemId=66654221&amp;Options=9270" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bath Bomb Mold and Package</a>. Once the bath bombs have dried overnight, they&#8217;re unmolded and painted. We recommend paint brushes with a small point for precision. The painting does take a steady hand and some patience, but it&#8217;s a relaxing process. It&#8217;s also a great project to do with friends, family, and kids.</p>

It&#8217;s sure to be your new favorite scent for the holidays and beyond. It discolors tan in soap. <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/tips-and-tricks/why-did-my-soap-turn-brown/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanilla discoloration</a> in bath bombs is hard to predict &#8211; sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn&#8217;t. We haven&#8217;t noticed any discoloration in these bath bombs after about 3 weeks, but we will update the post if we do.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Click below to add everything you need for this project to your Bramble Berry shopping cart!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE: </strong>In a large container, mix together 32 ounces of baking soda and 16 ounces of citric acid. To get rid of clumps, you can push the powder through a sifter or break them up with your fingers. Citric acid has a tendency to take off nail polish, so wear gloves to protect your manicure. Thoroughly stir the ingredients together.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70723" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE.jpg" alt="ONE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ONE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>TWO:</strong> Add 1 ounce of lingonberry seed oil, 0.5 ounces of polysorbate 80, and 9 mL of Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil to the powder.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>THREE:</strong> Use your hands to thoroughly mix in the wet ingredients.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70720" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE.jpg" alt="FIVE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/FIVE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FOUR: </strong>Test the consistency of the bath bomb mixture. <p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FIVE: </strong>Fill the two halves of the molds, gently pressing the bath bomb mixture in each so they hold their shape. Mound a little extra in the center of each half of the molds. <p style="text-align: left;"><strong>SIX: </strong>Allow the bath bombs to harden in the mold for at least 24 hours. Remove the bath bomb from the mold to ensure it’s completely hard. Before painting the bath bomb, you want to make sure it’s fairly durable.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>SEVEN:</strong> In three small separate containers, mix about 1/2 teaspoon of Red Mica, 1/2 teaspoon of Evergreen Mica, and 1/2 teaspoon of Super Pearly White Mica with about 1/2 tablespoon of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Mix thoroughly until smooth. The consistency of the mica paint is up to you. If you want a more saturated color, add a touch more mica. If you want a thinner, less saturated mixture, add more 99% isopropyl alcohol. Test the consistency on a paper towel or piece of paper.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>EIGHT:</strong> Using a small paint brush, create three circles in the center of the bath bomb using the Red Mica mixture.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70874 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TEN.jpg" alt="TEN" width="700" height="881" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TEN.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TEN-238x300.jpg 238w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TEN-397x500.jpg 397w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>NINE:</strong> Using a small paint brush, paint a leaf using the Evergreen Mica mixture.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70873 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/ELEVEN.jpg" alt="ELEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/ELEVEN.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/ELEVEN-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/ELEVEN-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70872 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TWELVE.jpg" alt="TWELVE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TWELVE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TWELVE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/TWELVE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>TEN:</strong> Finally, use a small paint brush to add small dots on the berries and lines on the leaves. This step really makes the design pop.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70871 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/THIRTEEN.jpg" alt="THIRTEEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/THIRTEEN.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/THIRTEEN-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/THIRTEEN-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ELEVEN: </strong>Continue painting until all the bath bombs are decorated. Allow the bath bombs to fully dry. When you’re ready to use, drop them into a hot bath and enjoy. If you&#8217;re giving them as gifts, place them back into their mold &#8211; it doubles as packaging!</p>

<p>This Lingonberry Spice Soap has a rustic-chic look that’s perfect for the holidays and beyond. The bars have a white base and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Activated-Charcoal-P4956.aspx?ItemId=64432656&amp;Options=7700" target="_blank">activated charcoal pencil lines</a>. To make the top look festive, there are <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Rose-Hips-Whole-P5629.aspx?ItemId=64432657&amp;Options=8998" target="_blank">rose hips</a> and dried leaves.</p>
<p>It’s scented with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Spice-Fragrance-Oil-P6956.aspx?ItemId=64432650&amp;Options=10976" target="_blank">Lingonberry Spice Fragrance Oil</a>, which is a comforting mix of apple, cedarwood, lemon, balsam fir, cinnamon, and mountain air. It’s a part of the new <a href="http://bbshare.co/4a" target="_blank">Hygge Collection.</a> <a href="http://bbshare.co/49" target="_blank">Click here to explore all the new products</a>, which include oils, packaging, and fragrances.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe loading="lazy" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DooT6lz0CVs" width="701" height="394" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p>Of course, how the soap feels is just as important. The recipe is made with new <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Lingonberry-Seed-Oil-P6946.aspx?ItemId=64432649&amp;Options=11003" target="_blank">lingonberry seed oil</a>, which has a silky and lightweight texture on the skin. The soap also features skin-loving <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Shea-Butter-P3220.aspx?ItemId=64432663&amp;Options=4991" target="_blank">shea butter</a> and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Deodorized-Cocoa-Butter-P3199.aspx" target="_blank">cocoa butter</a>.</p>

<p>Due to the large amount of <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Titanium-Dioxide-Pigment-P4040.aspx?ItemId=64432655&amp;Options=6524" target="_blank">titanium dioxide</a>, the recipe has a <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/tips-and-tricks/water-discounting-cold-process-soap-how-why/" target="_blank">15% water discount</a> to prevent <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/tips-and-tricks/river-runs-deep-explanation-glycerin-rivers/" target="_blank">glycerin rivers</a>. The slow-moving oils keep the soap workable, but be ready to work quickly.</p>

Working quickly but carefully, cover the soap with a thin layer of charcoal.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-6" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Use a spoon or spatula to plop another 20 ounces of soap into the mold, covering the charcoal layer below completely. Use a spoon to smooth out the layer and create peaks and divots. Lightly cover this layer of soap with activated charcoal.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-7" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Repeat this process with another 20 ounces of soap, and one more layer of activated charcoal.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-8" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Plop the remaining soap into the mold. Use a large spoon to evenly distribute the soap and create a smooth top.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-9" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Use a fork to create texture from one side of the mold to the other width-wise until you have covered the complete length of the mold.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-10" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Place dried rose hips in the center of the mold. Place them where you want the center of your bars to be. Where you place the rose hips will decide how big you’d like the bars. Then, place 1-2 myrtle leaves next to the rose hip.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-11" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Spritz the top with 99% isopropyl alcohol to prevent soda ash. If you live in a very hot climate, place the soap in the fridge or freezer for several hours to prevent gel phase. If not, the soap can stay on the counter uncovered.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-74101-step-1-12" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Allow the soap to stay in the mold for 2-3 days. Unmold, and cut into bars. Clean up the activated charcoal lines if necessary. Allow them to cure for 4-6 weeks and enjoy.</div></li></ul></div></div>
