On Friday, the team and I created several full length videos for<a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/soapqueentv" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Soap Queen TV</a>. The projects included a spin swirl soap using a new scent coming in spring, beard oil and a shaving cold process soap. We also filmed a shorter video demonstrating the new <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Multi-Pour-Tool-for-10-Silicone-Loaf-P6437.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Multi-Pour Sectioning Tool</a> for the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/10-Silicone-Loaf-Mold--P5199.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">10&#8243; Silicone Loaf Mold</a>, along with a Taiwan swirl (shown above). To create the vibrant colors, we used <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Nuclear-Orange-Pigment-P6346.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nuclear Orange Pigment</a>, <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Fizzy-Lemonade-Colorant-P4965.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fizzy Lemonade Colorant</a>, <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Zippy-Blue-Pigment-P6359.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zippy Blue Pigment</a> and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Titanium-Dioxide-Pigment-P4040.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">titanium dioxide</a>.</p>
<p>While filming the soap above, we streamed the process on <a href="https://www.periscope.tv/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Periscope</a>. You can find me on Periscope with the username: Brambleberry. If you&#8217;re unfamiliar with Periscope, it&#8217;s an app that allows users to stream live videos all around the world. The catch is the video is only available to watch for 24 hours. That&#8217;s where the site <a href="https://katch.me/brambleberry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Katch</a> comes in! <a href="https://katch.me/brambleberry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Katch</a> saves the videos to watch later. You can see all my videos on <a href="https://katch.me/brambleberry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Katch here</a>. Below is the live stream video of the circling Taiwan swirl soap shown above.</p>
<p>Before we can film <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/soapqueentv" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Soap Queen TV</a> videos, a lot of prep has to happen and while we&#8217;re filming, there&#8217;s an entire army of people standing by to help (Amber off camera to make sure we got the shot, Ron behind the camera, Haley watching Periscope, and Amanda beside me reading all my batch notes). The recipes must be made several times in advance to make sure they work well on camera, and will work well for a wide range of soapers. Below are some of the ingredients for the recipes that are prepped and ready to go.</p>
<p><span id="more-56898"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-56929 size-full" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Prepped.jpg" alt="On Friday, Anne-Marie of Soap Queen filmed three full length Soap Queen TV videos! </em><br />
<img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-56930 size-full" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/PreppedIngredients.jpg" alt="On Friday, Anne-Marie of Soap Queen filmed three full length Soap Queen TV videos! Click through to see some photos from the shoot and live videos. " width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/PreppedIngredients.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/PreppedIngredients-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/PreppedIngredients-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><em>These ingredients are ready for their close up! </em></p>
<p>Below, you can watch me testing the spin swirl soap recipe, along with the shaving soap recipe. I made the spin swirl soap about four times to make sure it was perfect. Everything from colors to oils in the recipe were tweaked slightly. The soap that I made in this video is actually the batch I planned to unmold and cut on camera, and will be shown in the final more polished video on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/soapqueentv" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Soap Queen TV</a>.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" src="https://katch.me/embed/v/99d56977-7840-34d3-917b-c114f0f8c579?sync=1" width="640" height="569" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>I can&#8217;t wait to share these videos with you. The first video may be posted as soon as March 15th, so be on the lookout for that. What projects would you like to see on Soap Queen TV? </strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Today I&#8217;m spending a little time at home to get ready for a Super Bowl party tomorrow. Last year I made <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/ykuiK9A5gy/?taken-by=brambleberry" target="_blank">these Buffalo Cauliflower &#8220;wings&#8221;</a> and they were a big hit. Such a big hit, that I&#8217;m making them again this year. Look for that recipe tomorrow. Below are my favorite pins, grams and tweets for the week. <strong>Also, be sure to check out my upcoming live videos on Periscope below!</strong> I&#8217;ll have two this week, including a <a href="http://handmadebeautybox.com/" target="_blank">Handmade Beauty Box project</a> and a peek into my <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bramble-berry-news/pure-soapmaking-book-signing-at-village-books/" target="_blank">author talk at Village Books</a>.</p>

</strong>I&#8217;m so happy with how this <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/avocado-spearmint-cold-process-soap-tutorial/" target="_blank">Avocado and Spearmint Soap</a> turned out. If you missed the tutorial, <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/avocado-spearmint-cold-process-soap-tutorial/" target="_blank">check it out here</a>. The post also includes a photo of my first attempt, which didn&#8217;t turn out quite as planned. Soap mishaps happen to us all. <p><strong>Periscope Schedule and <a href="https://katch.me/brambleberry" target="_blank">Katch</a>:<br />
</strong>Are you familiar with Periscope? If not, it&#8217;s a fun app that allows you to broadcast live video to the world. <strong>You can find me on Periscope @Brambleberry.</strong> I have been Persicoping when I make cold process soap, or when I make the monthly project for <a href="http://handmadebeautybox.com/" target="_blank">Handmade Beauty Box</a>. The trick is that the livestreams are only available for 24 hours. That&#8217;s where Katch comes in! Katch allows me to save the live streams, so you can watch them again and again. <a href="https://katch.me/brambleberry" target="_blank">Check out my Katch channel here.</a></p>
<p>Do you want to watch me live on Periscope? I&#8217;ve got a few live videos next week, including a look into <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bramble-berry-news/pure-soapmaking-book-signing-at-village-books/" target="_blank">my book signing and talk at Village Books on Friday</a>. If you can&#8217;t be there in person, you can still be part of the fun. =)</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday, February 10th @ 2 p.m., PST: <a href="http://handmadebeautybox.com/" target="_blank">Handmade Beauty Box</a> Virtual Craft Party Live!<br />
</strong>Tune in to watch me create this months Handmade Beauty Box Project. The project for February is this sparkly <a href="http://handmadebeautybox.com/2016/01/january-mermaid-ombre-soap/" target="_blank">Mermaid Ombré Melt and Pour Soap</a>. It features lots of layers to create a beautiful  aqua ombré design.</p>
