<p style="text-align: left;">Melt and pour soap is a great option for crisp and clean layers. This Cinnamon Cocoa Soap tutorial shows you how to create a brown and white design that’s topped with a bit of cocoa powder. It’s scented with new <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cinnamon-Cocoa-Fragrance-Oil-P6957.aspx?ItemId=65346582&amp;Options=10983" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cinnamon Cocoa Fragrance Oil</a>, which is an irresistible mix of nutmeg, coffee, and vanilla. Just tie a rustic ribbon around the bars and they&#8217;re ready to gift.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70612 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP_700px.jpg" alt="CinnamonCocoaMP_700px" width="700" height="961" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP_700px.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP_700px-219x300.jpg 219w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP_700px-364x500.jpg 364w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>There are a few key tools and techniques to create even layers. The first is patience &#8211; it&#8217;s important to allow the soap to cool and harden enough to support the next layer. The next is paying attention to temperature &#8211; it&#8217;s crucial that the soap isn&#8217;t too hot when it&#8217;s poured or it may melt the layer below. The last is <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/99-Isopropyl-Alcohol-16-oz-P5682.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">99% isopropyl alcohol</a> &#8211; it needs to be sprayed before each pour to help the layers adhere. We also like to spray it after pouring to get rid of bubbles.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Because of the bakery notes in the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Cinnamon-Cocoa-Fragrance-Oil-P6957.aspx?ItemId=65346582&amp;Options=10983" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cinnamon Cocoa Fragrance Oil</a>, this soap will discolor without <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Vanilla-Color-Stabilizer-P4156.aspx?ItemId=65346583&amp;Options=6625" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanilla Color Stabilizer</a>. We added it to the white and brown soap to prevent bleeding in between the layers.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70614 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP3_700px.jpg" alt="CinnamonCocoaMP3_700px" width="700" height="790" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP3_700px.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP3_700px-266x300.jpg 266w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CinnamonCocoaMP3_700px-443x500.jpg 443w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE: </strong>Chop 30 ounces of White Melt and Pour Soap Base into small uniform pieces. Place the soap into a heat-safe container. Chop 20 ounces of Honey Melt and Pour Soap Base and place into a separate heat-safe container.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70501 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ONE-1.jpg" alt="ONE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ONE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ONE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ONE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>TWO:</strong> Place the container of white soap into the microwave and melt using 30-60 second bursts. Add 0.4 ounces of Cinnamon Cocoa Fragrance Oil and 0.4 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Use a spoon to thoroughly mix in.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70506 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TWO-1.jpg" alt="TWO" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TWO-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TWO-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TWO-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70505 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/THREE-1.jpg" alt="THREE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/THREE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/THREE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/THREE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>THREE: </strong>To make each layer exactly the same size, place the mold on a scale and pour 10 ounces of white soap into the mold. Spritz the soap with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Allow the layer to harden and cool for about 20-30 minutes so it can support the next layer.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70499 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FOUR-1.jpg" alt="FOUR" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FOUR-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FOUR-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FOUR-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FOUR:</strong> Once the white layer has cooled and hardened, melt the 20 ounces of Honey Melt and Pour Soap Base in the microwave using 30-60 second bursts. Add chunks of the Brown Oxide Color Block to the melted soap and stir until you have a rich brown color.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70498 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FIVE-1.jpg" alt="FIVE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FIVE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FIVE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/FIVE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FIVE:</strong> Add 0.4 ounces of Cinnamon Cocoa Fragrance Oil and 0.4 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Stir in thoroughly. Allow the soap to cool to 125-130° F so it doesn&#8217;t melt the soap below.<br />
<em>NOTE: While this soap is already brown, the Vanilla Color Stabilizer prevents the vanilla discoloration from bleeding into the white layers. </em></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70503 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SIX-1.jpg" alt="SIX" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SIX-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SIX-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SIX-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SIX:</strong> Spritz the white layer with 99% isopropyl alcohol and place the mold onto a scale. Pour 10 ounces of the brown soap into the mold and spritz with alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Allow the soap to cool for 20-30 minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70502 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SEVEN-1.jpg" alt="SEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SEVEN-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SEVEN-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/SEVEN-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SEVEN:</strong> Remelt the white soap using 20-30 second bursts and allow it to cool to 125-130<em>° </em>F. Spritz the bottom layer with 99% isopropyl alcohol and pour 10 ounces of white soap into the mold. Spritz the soap with alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Allow this layer to cool and harden for 20-30 minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70495 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/EIGHT-1.jpg" alt="EIGHT" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/EIGHT-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/EIGHT-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/EIGHT-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>EIGHT:</strong> Remelt the remaining brown soap using 10-20 second bursts and allow it to cool to about 125-130<em>° </em>F.<em> </em>Spritz the soap in the mold with 99% isopropyl alcohol and pour the remaining brown soap into the mold. Spritz with alcohol to get rid of bubbles and allow it to cool and harden for 20-30 minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70500 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/NINE-1.jpg" alt="NINE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/NINE-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/NINE-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/NINE-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>NINE:</strong> Remelt the remaining white soap using 10-20 second bursts and allow it to cool to about 125-130° F. Spritz the soap in the mold with 99% isopropyl alcohol and pour the remaining white soap into the mold. Spritz with alcohol to get rid of bubbles.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70504 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TEN-1.jpg" alt="TEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TEN-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TEN-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/TEN-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>TEN:</strong> Place a small amount of cocoa powder into a sifter &#8211; we used the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Powder-Duster-P5427.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Powder Duster</a>. Gently tap the sifter to dust the top of the soap with cocoa powder. Once you&#8217;re happy with the look, allow the soap to fully cool and harden for about 4 hours or overnight.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70496 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN-1.jpg" alt="ELEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-70497 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN2.jpg" alt="ELEVEN2" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/ELEVEN2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>ELEVEN:</strong> Remove the soap from the mold. Cut the soap into bars with either a non-serrated knife or a crinkle cutter. Which you use just depends on what look you prefer. The non-serrated knife shows off crisp layers, while the crinkle cutter gives extra detail. To prevent <a href="https://soapqueen.com/personal-ramblings/augh-whats-that-all-over-my-soap-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">glycerin dew</a>, wrap the soap in plastic wrap. Enjoy!</p>

Cut the soap into bars with either a non-serrated knife or a crinkle cutter. Which you use just depends on what look you prefer. The non-serrated knife shows off crisp layers, while the crinkle cutter gives extra detail. To prevent glycerin dew, wrap the soap in plastic wrap. Enjoy!</div></li></ul></div></div>

<p>This melt and pour soap is easy to make and brings a bit of the sea into your home. The <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Sea-Sponge-P6930.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wool sea sponges</a> are quite soft and help promote a dense lather. The deep color comes from <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Jagua-Blue-Extract-P6926.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">jagua blue extract</a>, a natural colorant.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Jagua-Blue-Extract-P6926.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jagua blue extract</a> is a unique ingredient. It comes from the Genipa americana tree, which is native to tropical forests in North and South America. It&#8217;s very pigmented and a little goes a long way. To use in melt and pour, we like to mix it with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/99-Isopropyl-Alcohol-16-oz-P5682.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">99% isopropyl alcoho</a>l to get rid of clumps and then add that directly to the melted soap.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69449 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Sea-Sponge-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-Tutorial.jpg" alt="Sea Sponge Melt and Pour Soap Tutorial" width="700" height="816" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Sea-Sponge-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-Tutorial.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Sea-Sponge-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-Tutorial-257x300.jpg 257w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Sea-Sponge-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-Tutorial-429x500.jpg 429w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>These soaps are scented with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Midnight-Waters-Fragrance-Oil-P6918.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Midnight Waters Fragrance Oil</a>. It&#8217;s a deep and complex scent with notes of bergamot, deep sea water, and patchouli. It does discolor to a light tan, so this recipe uses <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Vanilla-Color-Stabilizer-P4156.aspx?ItemId=62823210&amp;Options=6625" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanilla Color Stabilizer</a>. <strong><a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Midnight-Waters-Fragrance-Oil-P6918.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Midnight Waters Fragrance Oil</a>, <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Jagua-Blue-Extract-P6926.aspx?ItemId=62823206&amp;Options=10960" target="_blank" rel="noopener">jagua blue extract</a>, and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Sea-Sponge-P6930.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sea sponges</a> are part of the <a href="http://bbshare.co/45" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new Seascape Collection &#8211; explore all the products here</a>.</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>SEA SPONGE PREP:</strong> Cut the wool sea sponges into about 3-4 pieces. We cut them into 3 pieces, but you can make them smaller or larger if you want.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE: </strong>Chop 29 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base into small, uniform cubes. Place them into a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30-60 second bursts. Stir between each burst.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69382 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ONE-2.jpg" alt="ONE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ONE-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ONE-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ONE-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>TWO:</strong> While the soap is melting, mix together 1/16th teaspoon of jagua blue extract and 2 teaspoons of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Mixing the jagua blue extract with alcohol helps prevent clumps.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69386 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/TWO-2.jpg" alt="TWO" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/TWO-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/TWO-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/TWO-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>THREE:</strong> Once the soap is melted, pour all of the dispersed jagua blue extract into the soap and stir until completely incorporated.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69385 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/THREE-2.jpg" alt="THREE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/THREE-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/THREE-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/THREE-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FOUR:</strong> Add 0.6 ounces of Midnight Waters Fragrance Oil and 0.6 ounces of Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix together.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69381 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FOUR-2.jpg" alt="FOUR" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FOUR-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FOUR-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FOUR-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FIVE:</strong> Fill each cavity of the mold about 80% full. Spritz the top with alcohol to help get rid of bubbles. Allow this layer of soap to harden and cool for about 15-20 minutes. The soap needs to build a strong enough skin to support the sea sponge.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69380 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FIVE-2.jpg" alt="FIVE" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FIVE-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FIVE-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/FIVE-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SIX:</strong> Once the soap has slightly hardened and formed a strong skin on top, reheat the remaining soap using 15 second bursts. Spritz all the cavities with 99% isopropyl alcohol to help the layers stick together.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69384 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SIX-2.jpg" alt="SIX" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SIX-2.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SIX-2-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SIX-2-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>SEVEN: </strong>Fill the cavity with melted soap. Once full, place the sea sponges into the soap. Spritz the soap with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any bubbles. Continue for each cavity.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69383 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SEVEN-1.jpg" alt="SEVEN" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SEVEN-1.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SEVEN-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SEVEN-1-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>EIGHT:</strong> Allow the soap to fully cool and harden for several hours or up to overnight. Once fully cool, remove the soap from the mold and enjoy. To prevent <a href="https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/tips-and-tricks/augh-whats-that-all-over-my-soap-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">glycerin dew</a>, wrap the soaps in plastic wrap and store in a cool, dry place.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Projects with lots of layers, swirls, embeds and more are awesome. But sometimes you just want to make something easy and straightforward, you know what I mean? This no-fuss melt and pour project is just that. But, that doesn&#8217;t make it boring! The soap base is colored with a blend of <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Color-Block-Shimmer-Queens-Purple-P6685.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Queen&#8217;s Purple Color Block</a> and <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Color-Block-Non-Bleeding-Black-Oxide-P5369.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Black Oxide Color Block</a> for a rich, dark violet hue. Then, lots of glitter and sparkle is added. It reminds me of deep space.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62620 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Sparkly-Purple-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-DIY.jpg" alt="sparkly-purple-melt-and-pour-soap-diy" width="700" height="477" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Sparkly-Purple-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-DIY.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Sparkly-Purple-Melt-and-Pour-Soap-DIY-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The soap is scented with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Bramble-Berrys-Alien-Type-Fragrance-Oil-P6699.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bramble Berry&#8217;s Alien Type Fragrance Oil</a>, which was inspired by the Thierry Mugler perfume of the same name. It smells absolutely amazing with notes of jasmine, amber, ylang ylang and a touch of patchouli. It&#8217;s the perfect scent for the mysterious purple color of this soap. Don&#8217;t forget to add the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Vanilla-Color-Stabilizer-P4156.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanilla Color Stabilizer</a>, because the fragrance does discolor. I used the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Stephenson-Ultra-Clear-Soap-Base-P6558.aspx?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stephenson Ultra Clear Soap Base</a> for this project so the sparkle really pops, but any clear melt and pour soap base would work as well.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>ONE: </strong>Cut and melt 32 ounces of Stephenson Ultra Clear Soap Base in the microwave using 30-60 second bursts. Once melted, add large chunks of the Queen&#8217;s Purple Color Block until you have a highly saturated purple color.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-62611" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE.jpg" alt="one" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/ONE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>TWO:</strong> Add chunks of the Black Oxide until you have a darker purple color. If necessary, place the soap back in the microwave using 15-20 second bursts to help fully melt the Color Block. Add the black slowly so you don&#8217;t totally cover the purple color.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62614 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO.jpg" alt="two" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/TWO-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>THREE:</strong> Once you&#8217;re happy with the color, add the Snowflake Sparkle Mica and Iridescent Glitter. Mix in thoroughly until there are no chunks of mica. To help it mix in a little better, you can disperse the Snowflake Sparkle in 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol. I skipped this step this time, and the color mixes in fine. Just takes a little more stirring. =)</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62613 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE.jpg" alt="three" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/THREE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>FOUR:</strong> Add the Bramble Berry&#8217;s Alien Type Fragrance Oil and Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix in completely.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62610 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR.jpg" alt="four" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FOUR-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62609 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE.jpg" alt="five" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/FIVE-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /><strong><br />
FIVE:</strong> Pour the soap into the mold cavities, spritzing with alcohol after each pour to get rid of bubbles. Allow the bars to fully cool and harden for several hours, up to overnight. Remove from the mold. Wrap the soap in plastic wrap after unmolding to help avoid glycerin dew. Enjoy!</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Christmas is just a few weeks away. Hard to believe, I know! If you&#8217;re making handmade gifts, melt and pour soap is a great option at this stage in the game. It only takes a few hours to harden, and is ready to use as soon as it&#8217;s fully cooled. These Christmas Star Melt and Pour Soaps are the perfect way to spread the Christmas cheer. They are also a great project for beginners.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">First, the soap is colored with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Color-Block-Shimmer-Sparkle-Gold-P5351.aspx?" target="_blank">Shimmer Gold Color Block</a> for a sparkly gold hue. It&#8217;s scented with <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Sleigh-Ride-Fragrance-Oil-P3924.aspx?" target="_blank">Sleigh Ride Fragrance Oil</a>, one of my all-time favorite holiday scents. It does discolor brown, so don&#8217;t forget the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/Vanilla-Color-Stabilizer-P4156.aspx?" target="_blank">Vanilla Color Stabilizer</a>! Once the soap is unmolded, a mixture of mica and alcohol is painted on the star details to really make them pop. To help seal the mica, spray the soap lightly with non-scented aerosol hairspray. This creates a seal that makes the mica a little more resistant to rubbing off when handled. That being said, the mica will wash off after one to two uses. I still think it&#8217;s worth it though. =)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-62407 size-full" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Christmas-Star-Melt-Pour.jpg" alt="Christmas Star Melt &amp; Pour Tutorial" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Christmas-Star-Melt-Pour.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Christmas-Star-Melt-Pour-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Christmas-Star-Melt-Pour-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This project is perfect to make with family visiting for the holidays. The hardest part is &#8220;painting&#8221; the soap once unmolded, and even that is pretty fool-proof. Young kids would have fun adding the colorant, fragrance and stirring the soap! It would be a great project to create a new holiday tradition.</p>

<p><strong>ONE: </strong>Chop and melt 18 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap in the microwave using 30 second bursts. Once melted, add shavings of the Shimmer Sparkle Gold Color Block and fully mix in. Continue adding color until you have a sparkly gold color.</p>

<p><strong>TWO: </strong>Add 0.1 ounce of Sleigh Ride Fragrance Oil and 0.1 ounce of Vanilla Color Stabilizer to the soap. Use a spoon to fully mix in.</p>

It has been substituted with the <a href="https://www.brambleberry.com/6-Cavity-Christmas-Assortment-Silicone-Mold-P6660.aspx">6 Cavity Christmas Assortment Silicone Mold</a>. Continue following the directions to paint the details on the soap.)</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62385 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/THREE-6.jpg" alt="three" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/THREE-6.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/THREE-6-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/THREE-6-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FOUR: </strong>Once the soaps have fully cooled and hardened (about 2-3 hours) remove from the mold. In separate containers, mix together about 1/2 Tbs. rubbing alcohol with 1/2 tsp. Merlot Sparkle Mica and Shamrock Green Mica. The &#8220;paint&#8221; should be thin enough to paint, but saturated enough to leave distinct color on the soap. Add more colorant or alcohol if necessary.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-62382 aligncenter" src="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/FOUR-6.jpg" alt="four" width="700" height="500" srcset="https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/FOUR-6.jpg 700w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/FOUR-6-300x214.jpg 300w, https://eadn-wc05-18592439.nxedge.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/FOUR-6-160x115.jpg 160w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>FIVE: </strong>Use a small paint brush to paint the mica on the details. Allow to fully dry. Repeat the process with the Shamrock Green Mica. Once the mica is completely dry, spritz the top of the soap with aerosol hairspray. Just a few sprays does the trick! The hairspray helps seal the mica, making it a little more durable to the touch. It may still transfer slightly.</p>

Allow to fully dry. Repeat the process with the Shamrock Green Mica.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-73884-step-0-5" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Once the mica paint has completely dried, spray the soap with unscented aerosol hairspray.
