Happy Easter from our family to yours.

Those little Easter Chickees in front of Jamisen? They are little wind-up toys. Jamisen was absolutely fascinated by them and loved watching them hop their way across the floor. He generally got excited and squashed them (example above) in his enthusiasm. We laughed so hard during this photo shoot.

Yes, we know that Jamisen is a boy and this pastel photo shoot might be a bit over the top (I’ll admit, the pink ears aren’t helping) but the Easter Bunny will hopefully forgive us (we can’t say the same for Jamisen when he turns 13!).

The tail was applied with hot glue at just the right moment before it solidified with mother’s hand between nanny bottom and diaper to ensure no excessive heat transfer. No bottoms were harmed in this process. Funny true fact? The white eggs are real, raw eggs. No eggs were harmed in this photo shoot.

Grandpa Faiola had a fun time designing the set with hot glue gun, dollar store materials and some creativity. Family makes everything better. I hope you are enjoying your Easter with your family.

  1. What a nice Easter…Those pictures are perfectly set up. I had a great Easter too! My first grandchild (only a week old)came for her first visit and Easter dinner with her parents. So sweet!!!!!

  2. What a wonderful Easter you are having.

The second picture looks like Jamisen was caught in the act; that surprised look.

Would you mind telling me how to pronounce the name Faiola? Very interesting name.
