My creation

Hello! We’re almost all packed up for our road trip to Portland to the Soap Guild conference. Kat, from Otion, is teaching Swirling 101 (those are her soaps below) at The Handcrafted Soap Guild Show this week in Portland, Oregon. I’ll be teaching Milk Soap 101 (those are my soaps above). We both need a volunteer for our classes to help with set up, re-set (we teach back to back classes), cleaning tools and in my class, stirring lye into frozen goat milk for approximately 10 minutes.

    1. Welcome to the Soaping World, Kimberly!

Every year, the Soap Guild holds a conference, and this year it is in Portland, Oregon. Anne-Marie and Kat (from Otion) are both teaching classes this year and it is going to be so much fun!

There is also the Soap Weekend Intensive that is held in Bellingham, Washington (home of Bramble Berry) on June 15th-17th of this year. Anne-Marie will be teaching as well as Debbie Chialtas of Soapylove, Erin Pikor of Naid Soap Arts, Kat Hackney of Otion, and Jill Heuser of Northwest Scents. It is always so much fun and you learn so many amazing things about soaping.
