We’re looking for the latest and greatest fragrances to add to the Bramble Berry lineup…and we need your help! For the next week, we’re on the hunt for 8 soap mavens to help us decide what fragrances to add for Fall/Winter 2012. Check out the mash up blog post from the last soap panel so you can see how much fun testing can be!

What’s the S.O.A.P. panel, you ask? Soap Opinion (Awesome) Panel members will receive one ounce fragrance samples of our top 10 choices of fragrances that were designed especially for us. We’ve already tested all of the S.O.A.P. panel fragrances and they’ve gone through our own internal Brambleberrian panel so you’re getting the best of the best (!). Give the cutting-edge fragrances a sniff AND test them in any product you like (really, anything!). Then fill out a survey to help distinguish the top choices. We want your honest opinion and thorough notes on testing!

How to apply: Tweet, Facebook, Pin or Blog about your favorite Bramble Berry product (including links) and why you should be selected for the S.O.A.P. team. We’ll announce the finalists on Monday, August 13th so get your tweets, posts and blogs done by next week (you’ll have all weekend to work on it)! Note: Your Tweets should have @brambleberry someplace in the body of the Tweet (but make sure they don’t just get directed directly to @brambleberry or else no one else can see them)! Be sure to link your blog post below in the comments so we can read about it and tag your post on Facebook or Pinterest if you’re doing things that route.

The Fine Print: We will be sending the fragrances out by the end of next week and we would like the surveys complete by September 7, which gives you about 3 weeks to test the fragrances. Please keep these dates in mind before you enter. We are looking for an accountable and enthusiastic panel, so be sure that this works out with your schedule! Because these fragrances can’t ship internationally, we are not able accept international entries.

  1. I tweeted my entry here: https://twitter.com/SmallWaldo/status/234069706426941440.

Hopefully this counts… I said my favorite Brambleberry ‘product’ is their customer service. From simply answering questions (“Why won’t this work???”) to quickly and happily fixing a shipping snafu, the people who are the internet face of this company are *amazing*!

I’d so love to be on the S.O.A.P. panel. After two weeks of working on an order of 600 lavender bath bombs, having something new and different to work with would be outstanding! As someone who does soaps, bath bombs, lotion bars, candles and all kinds of other stuff, I can give these new scents a pretty good going over! 🙂

  2. HI this is a great opportunity to put my big nose to a good use. I really hope I would win along with all the other entries. I really do not know how this goes, with emails and facebook and twitter and so fort. My forte is not really in computers but in soap making and jewelry.

    Good luck to everybody,

    Elizabeth

  3. I would love to be a SOAP tester because I am a novice and would love to know how to choose the right scents. My favorite thing from Brambleberry is the shea butter melt and pour:

My favorite way to use it is as a base for Oatmeal.I have a few friends and family with skin issues and they just love this soap.

The other thing I love about Brambleberry is SoapQueen.com and SoapQueen.tv it is so nice of you to share your experience and insights. Thank you!

  4. Although I am fairly new to soap making, I hope that you give me an opportunity to participate on the SOAP panel. I think that Bramble Berry could benefit from opinions from participants of varying levels of experience, because this is what your customer base is made up of. Thanks for taking a moment to read my blog entry!

  5. SoapBomb is trying to get on the S.O.A.P. panel testing at Bramble Berry Although we’re new to soapmaking, We love trying new things! Our favorite thing about bramble berry has to be their AMAZING selection of fragrances and essential oils. Our favorite would have to be the pearberry fragrance oil. It smells like a starburst candy! We think we should be selected for the S.O.A.P panel testing because we like to have a wide range of scents and products, and we like to have amazingly scented products! (That’s where Bramble berry comes in!)

  7. Are you only looking for extremely experienced soap makers? I have been making CP soap for only 6 months, but am passionate about it. I have used Brambleberry exclusively for my fragrance orders, in fact, I placed an order yesterday. If I would be considered. I would LOVE to apply!

    1. Bramble Berry. I should get the name right if I want to be a tester! I Love your products so much!!!!

    2. You don’t have to be a super experienced soap maker to apply! However, though these fragrance have gone through preliminary testing in our labs, different recipes can cause them to rice or accelerate. So just be warned…if you feel confident in handling that, please apply! We love hearing perspectives from all experience levels 🙂 -Kristen with Bramble Berry

I love to use BB glitter I have to order some more these days and the M&P base to make embedds.I just made a bunch of leaves for my next Fall soap….just left a picture on my Facebook
