I’m of two minds over this email in response to our Yahoo Finance feature. On the one hand, I want to please everyone and I would hate to actually turn anyone away from our site because it’s too difficult to read or look at. But on the other hand, I really like our design and think that it’s very easy to read and navigate. We have a lot of content and if we get much larger font, the site looks pretty cartoonish. I would love your feedback. Agree? Disagree with Donald’s note?

Just read the article on Yahoo Finance about your business. Nice idea. Congrats.

Visiting your website, the first thing I notice is the small font size and lay-out. The site is not bad, but those two things are really important to draw people in. I purchase a LOT of stuff online, and if I get turned off on the website, that’s it, I don’t go back. This is just constructive feedback because you seem like a great person, and I’d like to see you do even better. I would recommend visiting some top retailers and then optimize your site with some personal touches. Good luck! Donald

  1. Hi Laura –

That’s a great tip about increasing the font. I think Mozilla makes it even easier. You just hit the Cntrl and the + and that increases the font in Mozilla.

  2. I think it’s just fine. If a customer wants it to be larger, all they have to do is increase the font size under the “view” drop down on the toolbar.
