I’ve found guys also LOVE the SoapQueen Black and Tan CP Beer Soap…anything made with beer, they love ha! Also, anything scented Beau Brummel! A very popular scent with guys in my experience…so many options with the wonderful Bramble Berry lineup!! 🙂

What a great line up for guys, but I have never seen an After Shave in your line up. Anne-Marie you are so creative and just darn brilliant, can you create one we could give as duo gift? Bet it would make an awesome Kit too especially with Fathers Day in June!

Thanks for the great suggestion, I’ll pass it on to Anne-Marie. You can make aftershaves that are similar to perfume, by using a men’s fragrance and this recipe in the meantime:

Oh Thank You Becky… but I have a question… so if I follow this and expand it to fill an antique 9oz bottle I would then need 1 1/2tsp of Optiphen?
Which by the way, am so glad I don’t have to do a paraben in this!!

When we are making any of our recipes, we do so by weight because it make it much more accurate. When you are adding your preservative to your product, you do want to make sure you are doing it by weight. For Optiphen that would be anywhere from a .5% – 1.5% usage rate.
For example, if your product weighed 9 ounces, then you could add anywhere from 1.3 – 3.8 grams of the Optiphen preservative. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
