As of this morning, not many people have posted in the comments section to be entered into a drawing for your choice of 5 3-D soap molds and a soapmaking DVD. At these rates, the chances are pretty good that your comment will win free soap molds!

Post a comment to any post this week and you’re automatically entered.

  1. I love this idea. Im gonna get one of my granddaughters Barbies and submerge her arm in the soap, then sit Barbie on one side and the soap on the other side of the tub and just see how long it takes for her to realize what happened to Barbie and how long it takes her to get the arm out of the slippery soap, this is gonna be fun ;O).

  2. Oh oh oh this is hilarious. I want to make one! Will have to scour the thrift stores for Barbies now… Unless you’re planning to start stocking doll arms…? 🙂

  3. This is one reason I love making soap…you can be as creative as you want! The possibilities are endless…

  4. The “Drowning” mold is relaly just the Hockey Puck, custom mold from Bramble Berry. I dismantled a Barbie and embedded her arm in the soap. You can’t see it but there’s a layer of sand at the bottom which makes the effect even creepier… I mean, more whimsical.

  5. As a (fairly) new soaper, I’ll jump at any chance to expand my soap making stash. *grin*

Thank you so much for your “how to” articles. I’m enjoying the one on the 3-D molds and the cupcake bath bombs sound fun!

  6. Thanks! I made it for my audition for the t.v. show “Craft Lab.” They ended up using completely different soap and recipes but it was fun to see how out-there I could get.
