Jamie posted yesterday and asked what Cream Soap is.
Cream Soap is an old-school method of soaping that forms a semi-solid soap. It’s like a creamy shaving foam and can be used for a cold cream type face wash, shaving soap, sugar and salt scrubs and soap in a jar.
It involves, among other things, a 2.5 hour cook time and potassium hydroxide as well as sodium hydroxide.

Since I don’t love the idea of the 2.5 hour cook time, I’ve been trying to get around it by using a melt and pour base. You’ll want to continue reading this week to see if I’m successful.
