Sunday in Bellingham is usually a pretty relaxed affair. Today however, I am designing the last of Bramble Berry’s mineral make up line (coming soon!).

I’m almost finished with the instructional booklet and have designed 1 big kit. This afternoon, I will finish up on the eye shadow instructions and design three eye shadow kits. It’s fun to learn how to make products that cost a $bazillion$ dollars but are only a few cents to make at home!

I will post the winner of the Scwhag Goody Box tomorrow!

Happy Sunday!

  1. I designed the blusher, the foundation and the eye shadow kits yesterday. I also formatted the 11 page booklet.

This week, I’ll have my staff going over the entire thing with a very fine toothed comb (ex: does the blue mica I included in the eye shadow kit actually work for eyes, or is it only body?! how is the grammar in the book?).

Then, the web site designer will design a page, graphics included, around the line which will take a week or two.

I expect the entire line, book included, will be up for sale the 4th week in August.

I’m very excited to have it for sale … almost. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to make once I started experimenting. You’ll absolutely go bonkers when you see how easy it is to create blush. Foundation and Eye Shadows are a bit more difficult because of the immense color palette to work with but blush? Blush is so quick and affordable!

I can’t wait to see what you guys think!

  2. Ooooooh… I’ve often looked at my micas and wondered if they could be used as makeup. (I don’t do it, because that wouldn’t be wise without some research, but I’ve wondered.) I can’t WAIT to see what you have to offer!

  3. Anne-Marie~hats off to you on this one! This is a very interesting development because Mineral Make-up is so widely used~ and to be able to make it at home~ WOW! I will be looking forward to learning this line.

  4. Will the instructional booklet and kit be for sale soon? I’m really interested in learning how to make mineral make-up.
