Bramble Berry is proud to announce 2013’s Bramble Berry Athletic Club sponsored athletes! In it’s second year, BBAC had more responses to our call for applications than last year (hooray for health!). All of the entries were inspiring and it was hard to choose, but we were delighted by the interest everyone showed. This year we opened enrollment to members of Team Bramble Berry, and even opted to sponsor a unique group of athletes. Read on to see our fabulous 2013 team!

Another new feature this year is that we’ve decided to sponsor a unique team of athletes. Ride with Pride is a non-profit organization that specializes in therapeutic horseback riding and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, and they are sending a team to the annual CALNET (California Network for Equestrian Therapy) Horse Show for Therapeutic Riders. Volunteers for Ride with Pride tailor programs to individual riders’ needs and horses like Bob (below) help those with physical and cognitive disabilities with therapeutic riding exercises. We’re excited to welcome the Ride with Pride Team to BBAC!
What a great marriage of health and philanthropy! We can’t wait to follow all of our athlete’s in their races this year and celebrate with you as they complete their races. We’ll tell you their stories over the year. Congratulations to our 2013 BBAC Team!
