These cookies require the use of dental floss. If anyone actually tries to make them, please send photos. The jelly roll cookies look like the jelly roll soap that we just made on this blog!

We absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content in your case? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write in relation to here. Again, awesome web site!

I don’t think I can post a photo in the comment box, so I’ve put the photos and my write-up of what I’ve learned from the experience on my blog:

I’m so excited that you’re trying the cookies! Let us know how they turn out =)
ShadesOfGrey says
I made these cookies today (the dough is currently chilling in the fridge and waiting to be cut and popped in the oven. I have to comment that, having followed Ms. M’s other recipes before, this wasn’t one of the easier ones. I don’t think it’s particularly suitable for kids, except maybe the cooking prodigies, which my boys are not.
That said, it was an interesting expt/new recipe for me and I look forward to seeing how they’ll turn out in the end.
(p.s. I used a natural food dye made with red currants as my third color, in addition to the cocoa and the natural color; the red is not very intense and it’ll probably end up looking like a light chocolate rather than a cheery holiday red.)

Stay tuned! π

Alrighty, someone needs to try this soap or at least try their hand at the cookies (SoapyLove to the rescue!)
I’m already scheduled to be trying Cranberry Orange Popovers for Christmas (food) and then lots of melt and pour goodies for last minute stocking stuffer gifts at Otion.
SoapyLove, if you try this for actual soap, let us know! =)

So pretty to look at. I love the colors. That is just what we need – make the fattening food look more attractive!

I like the soap much better also. Although I did make some sugar cookies with roasted hazelnuts with apricot jam in the middle and then dipped in choc. But they were low cal.

Ooh! I feel a soap challenge coming on! I love the multicolored circles. They’re just dying to be soap bars!!
Joanna Schmidt says
Too perfect. I like your soap AND you better, no doubt! π

I think I prefer the soap…it doesn’t taste so good, but it won’t require bigger pants. = )
