We’re headed to Seattle today to listen to the Dalai Lama. We’ll be seeing him along with 40,000 other people at Qwest Field. Click here to read a news report about the visit or here to visit the official Seeds of Compassion web site.

Amazingly, Lela from Belle Lucce Beauty is also going to be there so I’m hoping that we can meet up for a quick bite to eat after the event. I’ve blogged about Belle Lucce here and listed them as a favorite when I was the Guest Designer at Rare Bird Finds. It will be exciting to meet in person.

  1. Teresa, I’ll go check out your post. It was such a cool, one in a lifetime experience to listen to the Dalai Lama in person. He was such a joyful, mischievous soul. I feel very lucky and blessed that we were able to attend the event.

  2. I just posted about the Dalai Lama yesterday! 🙂 His bro lives in our town, and he was here not too long ago, but I have never seen him in person. I missed seeing Obama yesterday too.

    Hope you had fun!!

  3. ~Wow you really have a cool life Anne-Marie! You go to the neatest places, and you get to be in the presence of the coolest people. We love to read about your adventures.
