Woo-Hoo! And, I’m off to the airport! I’m flying all day to Burlington, Vermont. Natch, I’m with with United of the previous angry-little-yelling-man debacle. However, I am confident that this time, United will have 100% on-time flights, great service and friendly gate staff.

I’ll be speaking four times to the Soap Guild Conference attendees on Monday during the Business Power Sessions about Growing Your Business & Adding to Your Customer Base.

I’m hoping to get time to blog from the conference but it sounds like a jam packed time. Just in case it’s too busy to live blog, I have some fun projects and soapy obsessions to post about from Vermont that I’ve been working on this week.

Updated: It’s 11:28 p.m. and I’m safely tucked into my room at the Inn at Essex! Phew …

  1. Girl you have got to stop flying United. Ive found Continental to be awesome. Plus, they give you free, hot meals, where United makes you pay $5 for a box of trailmix. I guess thats a silly reason to choose an airline, but I think with my stomach. And when youre up early on that am flight, a hot meal is a lot more appetizing than United’s “Breakfast Box”.

Have fun in Vermont and watch out for hippies 🙂

  2. To my dear “Boss”Anne-Marie,
I had to cancel my plans to attend.I had a room and paid conf fees but the cost would have been too much.
Please tell the staff of the Guild that I am sorry to not be there! As a new member and someone who is trying this (over again) this was the perfect conference to atend:( the staff at the Guild emailed me so nicely but it could not have worked out-they were sad also.
Have a double good time for me-chocolate anything!
I am there in mind and spirit-trust me I can’t stop thinking about the conference!
Have a great time and Vermont Maple everything!
    With greatest respect

  3. Have a wonderful time! I wish I could have budgeted for the confrence this year….

  4. Glad you got there safely! I meant to wish you Bon Voyage yesterday, but forgot. Darn brain.

Hope your flight home will be absolutely perfect. 🙂

Have a fabulous, fabulous time in VT! Wish I were there to hear you talk and join the soaping fun!

  5. Just saw your twitter update. Thank goodness this wasn’t like your last flight, right? I hope you get to update us on everything that happens at the show.

  6. It’s been a whirlwind of a trip so far. There was construction on the freeway which impeded my drive to Seattle to make the flight. So, I hopped on a puddle jumper plane from Bellingham to Seattle. Upon arrival, the United flight 958 is delayed by 90 minutes and there was a snafu with my seats (I had none anymore) but one Ms. D Tyler with United took a long and patient time to get me sorted and on the plane. Phew! So, we’ll be boarding soon (hopefully) and I’ll be in VT this evening. 🙂 I can hardly wait!

  7. Have loads of fun, and make certain to blog about it for those of us on the west coast that can’t make it!

  8. I hope the lovely weather we have been having here in Burlington keeps up for the conference!
