Thank you Dad for this hilarious exchange (if you don’t recall, my Dad also had a puzzling exchange with Cinnabon as well. Click here to read it).

Jenn: Hi, I’m Jenn, your virtual assistant for the Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air Web site. If you need help, or have a question, simply type it below.

You Asked:For my flight (Confirmation Code: BWY*DC Name: FAIOLA/RICHARD Ticket Number: 027-X11X85525X )The web site would not accept my Alaska Air number ([edited out]). Can you help me with correct number?

Jenn: The electronic ticket number and 6-letter confirmation code can be found in your confirmation e-mail or on the Purchased Reservation page. Alaska and Horizon ticket numbers start with 027 and can be found beneath the traveler information.

You Asked: Jenn, you are an attractive woman and your voice is very nice for a machine, but you are worthless.

Jenn: I’m sorry, please let me help you with something else.

  1. Too, too funny. However, I must say that a week ago I was on a Horizon Air flight and the service was super. My 87 year old mother and I were flying together and we requested a wheelchair for her to get to the gate. Very friendly and helpful people and they would not accept a tip (expected standard is $5.00 for wheelchair service). I won’t talk about the United flight service we experienced though.

  2. Man, your dad couldn’t even get a little banter going? Where’s the fun? Thanks for the giggle!

I’ve learned that if you speak gibberish long enough, they eventually give you a live person. That’s a problem when people are around you, though. Once there was a painter in my house and he was perplexed…c’est la vie!

  3. Oh too funny! Those automated, supposedly “smart” machines are a big pain in the you-know-where sometimes.

  4. THAT is hilarious! I recall your dad’s cinnabon experience….this ranks right up there! Lol
