Step # 19-20Dip a white object to the depth the soap will be poured to see if sufficient richness has been achieved. If so, mist your mold for the next layer.

Step # 20-21Draw and inject your pink to finish off the flower, returning any remaining soap to it’s container. Rinse injector in simmering water.

Each tool should be swished around in the simmering water immediately after use so it’s ready for the next use.

Step # 22-23 Again, Allow layers to set until fixed in place then inspect both sides of the mold for imperfections.

  1. Ooh, if one of your mold suppliers could make a cupcake mold with swirls, I’m sure it would be an instant seller in BB’s website. I would be one of the first customers to buy one.:)

  2. Aren’t they cute molds? You can buy it directly at spinningleaf.com

    We’ll probably eventually get it … that is, if a mini cupcake mold doesn’t magically become available! =)

  3. Thank you, Anne-Marie! This tutorial is great! I just bought PJ’s toolkit last month and love it! I’m still trying to get used to the injector/syringe – I’m used to using a syringe differently as a nurse.;)
    BTW, I haven’t seen the mold you’re using in this tutorial in BB’s website? Is it new? It looks like a plumeria round guest mold? Are you going to be adding it to BB’s mold line-up? I would definitely want to buy it! 🙂

  4. Oops! I lost patience and pushed the publish comment a few too many times:}

  5. Those are looking great. And they remind me of Hawaii – they kinda look like plumerias.
