I’ve had the good luck to be on many airplanes this month with a trip to California and NYC. I’ve also watched with sympathy as most parents on the airplane tried to entertain their toddler-aged kids, generally with increasingly frantic results (especially during the long NYC flight).

Portable Playtimelooks like a great product for helping fill the time for little people under the age of 10. It’s a portable backpack that converts into a mat that attaches to airplane tables, with pockets keep toys at easy reach. I can think of a few wonderful children and grateful parents that would love this.

  1. I flew back from NYC last night and saw quite a few kids coming and going. That is a fantastic idea and one I will keep in mind!

  2. Neat! Wish I had that when the kids were little. Luckily, all they need these days are a good book and a notebook. :>

  3. Sounds like it would work wonders in the car too!
I can’t even imagine trying to FLY with a little one
