My Recipe Finds is an awesome foody blog that stopped me in my tracks today. I stumbled upon a blog post called “Top 20 Unique Cupcake Recipes of 2010”. Check out the blog here and click on the cupcakes for the yummy recipes…if you dare!

Oreo Cupcakes, Margarita Cupcakes, Cider Cupcakes with Marshmallow Frosting, Strawberry Lime Stuffed Cupcakes, Caramel Pecan Cupcakes, Lemon Cupcakes, Guiness Cupcakes with Bailey’s Irish Cream Frosting, Chocolate Cherry Coke Cupcakes and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes…and those are just the ones that you see pictures above! Be sure to check out My Recipe Finds to read more!

Do you want to try one of my favorite cupcake recipes? I made them in January for a 10 year Bramble’versary. See the blog post on my Salted Caramel Choco-Beer Cupcakes, they are worth it!

  1. Thanks so much for the mention Anne Marie! I’m glad you enjoyed my roundup post. So many cupcakes to try, so little time!

  2. Yep, of course! It’s on the Philadelphia Cream Cheese website (dangerous!)
http://www.philadelphiacreamch… (fingers crossed that this comes through as a link!)

We’re occasional Xylitol users (alternative to sugar, aspartame free) and I used it in the cake, and it was great, without the sugar high I normally get with such things! I used one low fat pack of Philly, the other was the regular Philly (tip I got on Allrecipes.com.au, but the recipe there doesn’t have the almonds in the crust and it felt too buttery, but held together nicely when cold!!! as you’d imagine).
Looking forward to pics from it when you make it (my spring form pan is bigger than 20cm/8″ so it was a thinner cake, but still YUMMY!!!)
    🙂

  3. I am all over visiting them when I’m in town next. I love cupcakes. It’s a bit of an obsession so 25 minutes south of Portland doesn’t sound all that bad at all =)

  4. WOAH! Toblerone cheesecake? Can you share the recipe? I would LOVE to make that for my Mom for her next birthday.

  5. Anne-Marie, you are cruel! Now I’ll be forced to make cupcakes and do more exercise! ;D

  6. Oh Yum @soapqueen what a lovely selection! I just made a Toblerone cheesecake so might be a little while until I make cup cakes 😉

  7. Next time you’re in the Portland area, you need to try the newest cupcake shop in the area, Sweetest Thing Cupcakes. It’s in Newberg, about 25 minutes south of Portland, but it’s totally worth the trip, Anne-Marie! Their cupcakes are amazing -definitely the best in PDX!
