  1. Is the Apps oz.s by weight or by volume? Im sure clarity on this matter will give this first time soap maker a bar of soap instead of a mess that needs tossing out. Thanks!

    1. By weight; 99% of the time, I always do everything by weight because it’s more accurate and more easily replicate-able. =)

  2. Verizon is getting the iPhone in 2011 so that’s a plus. We’ve actually got the App developed for the Android phones now and are in testing mode right now, as I write! =) We have our test version downloaded to an Android phone in the office. It does need some changes so it’s not a fast and quick thing but hopefully in the next 6 weeks, we’ll have it out.

  3. Will there be an app for the Windows phone? While I love my Windows phone, I’m finding very few apps that are worthwhile for it. If you’ve got the Droid app by July, 2011, but no Windows, I’ll be switching my phone to that. Sorry, but can’t stand to give ATT any of my money. -(:

  4. Oh I know! Non-Static Lye is such a joy to work with. It takes a wee bit longer to dissolve but I think it’s worth the trade off! =)

I wrote our developer. This is what he said:

If she’s still on the 3.x software, then she won’t get the update, though, since a lot of the features are 4 specific (like the multitasking). Can you have her check for updates while connected to iTunes?

Keep me posted. I would love for you to be making liquid soap with your SOAP app next. =)

  5. Wow! Can’t believe I missed that – I’ve been loving this app, but converting my oz. to grams. Not any more!!

I still don’t have an update prompt in my app store (on the Ipod Touch). Any ideas?

PS I got a jumbo order yesterday – I’m so excited to have non-static Lye!

  6. So, you’re using the iPod Touch? Yes, there’s an update for the iTouch as well.

The settings are in the actual ‘Settings’ button for your iTouch. Here are instructions on how to find and change to Metric:

  7. Hi, are they going to make the app that will work with android phones? That would be great, it would work on my phone then 🙂
P.S. I love all the information and thought you put into your business and your customers.

  8. I’m just using an Ipod, and it doesn’t show an update. Is it only for the Iphone that it has been updated? Furthermore the info on Itunes says I can change it to metric under settings, but I have yet to find setting’s in the app. What am I missing?

    Thanks!
