Wow! Where did the day go? All of a sudden I look up and it’s past 9 p.m. and I haven’t even written my blog. Whoops! I’ve got some exciting projects underway for this week – a Belly Balm recipe to share with you, the Cranberry Fig soap instructions and (eeeek!) the sex of the baby. It’s going to be a jam-packed week. Yay! But in the meantime, I’ve been doing a little shopping on Etsy and here’s my latest finds and purchases:

Recycled Baby Thank You notes. I’m thinking about having this seller (graciegirlnotes) make all the baby shower invitations for the new Bramble Baby. This is my trial order to see the quality and consistency of this seller. I love supporting small business.

A Butter Caramel sampler for my family at Thanksgiving. With flavors like Matcha Green Tea, Rose, and French Lavender, not buying from Fusion Sweets was a virtual impossibility. My family is excited to try the veritable sugar feast.  And I’m just excited to see my family, caramels or not! =)

For some reason, I am an absolute sucker for necklaces with sayings and whimsical things on them. I was looking for a pendant that actually said “Be Happy” but out of all of Etsy, I couldn’t find one but I did find this adorable one  from Always A Memory and I couldn’t help but make it mine.

Etsy is always my shopping downfall but in this case, there’s no buyer’s remorse. =)

  1. Tee hee, you got a “bee” happy anyway!!! Those cards are gorgeous, and caramel, well… caramel is yummy!

  2. With the feast we’re planning, it would be hard not to. We’ll be in a bit of
a carb and food coma for a bit though! LOL! =)))

  3. It’s a doozy. I’ve been slathering myself in it for weeks to get it ‘just
right’. It’s a bit oily for my taste so I’m going back to the drawing board
when I’m all out of this mondo batch I made.

  4. I try to stay all handmade or small business owned for Christmas gifts. It
doesn’t always work out that way but I try! =) And yes, generally, I end up
with something for myself. It’s funny how that works out.

  5. I cannot wait too try those caramels. I’m being soooo good any not eating
any though =) They are incredibly easy to make so you definitely could do
    it.

I can’t wait to tell everyone the sex of the Bramble Baby! S/he is kicking
up a storm this week =)

  6. So are my folks. They claim I am cruel and cold to know for a week and not
    tell them! =) LOL!

  7. oh my gosh. those caramels are to die for…..
you have to spank me; no BEAT me!
i have been seriously considering getting into chocolate
and caramel to add to my intended small gifts line, complete with
    handmade cards as well.

yeah, so you showing stuff like this to me feeds that need
for diversity and that can only be 1 of 2 things 1) terrible or
    2) genius….lol.

so say something horrible and scary to me at this point. either that, or
sell me the chocolate maker that’s in your storeroom already…..lol.

=) can’t wait to find out if he is she or she is he….still betting on she
but this green card doesn’t bode well for a clue.

  8. Nice! The necklace and the cards are super-cute, and the caramels sound yummy. I’ve been doing lots of shopping on Etsy, too, for holiday gifts. And it seems I can never resist buying a little gift for myself, too. 😉 Have a happy Thanksgiving!

  9. Oooh I almost bought some of those caramels too! Please let me know how you all like them 🙂 Hope you and your family have a nice Thanksgiving!
