If you’re looking to update your makeup look, the holiday season is the perfect time to add a little glitz and glam! Gold and copper eye shadow is perfect for special occasions and is also wearable for everyday. Even better, gold tones are extremely flattering for a wide variety of skin tones. This Glamorous Gold Eye Shadow Quad features four shades for easy blending and customization.
The classic gold shade is great base color, while the light gold is perfect for highlighting. The two darker shades are meant for shadows and contouring. I can’t wait to use these colors to create a look similar to this, or this look for a special occasion. Looking for more tips on how to apply eye shadow? The instructions in the Pumpkin Shimmer Eye shadow Tutorial would work well for these colors as well.

Hi, how long these lose eye shadow last?
Kelsey says
Hi Ana!
This shadow should stay on your eyes all day! As with regular eye shadow, it may fade a little bit at the end of the day. You can reapply it or use a primer beforehand to help the staying power. 🙂

Hi,
These are adorable! I was wondering if the little sifters would fir in them somehow??
I have sifters, now to order these containers.
Thanks!!
Kelsey says
Hi Dawnia!
The sifters sold at brambleberry.com are larger than the stackable lip pots, so they won’t fit. However, you can put your eye shadow in the sifter tin if you like! 🙂

How pretty! I actually don’t wear makeup ever unless I absolutely have to (only 3 times in my 21 years of life!) but I’m slowly coming around to the idea of at least learning how to put it on for myself. I like to wear lip gloss sometimes and the one time I used eyeliner I had a really good looking cats eye that I’m sad I had to wash off because it was too perfect!
I’ll definitely try this sometime and see if it’s my color!
Kelsey says
Hi Leanna!
This color palette looks great on a wide variety of skin tones. Let us know what you think of it! 🙂

Are there any other subs for Sericite? I have everything else already. Maybe kaolin clay?
Kelsey says
Hi Jenner!
Kaolin clay can be used as a base for your eyeshadow. It provides great slip! It may give you a slightly more matte look than the sericite, so a small test batch may be helpful. 🙂
