Introducing the Rustic Fragrance Collection! This collection includes four sophisticated fall inspired fragrance oils.
Believe it or not, now is the time to start planning projects for fall and the holiday season. If you are in need of project inspiration, the new Rustic Fragrance Collection is here to help! The collection includes four incredible fragrance oils: Cinnamon Sticks, Rustic Woods and Rum, Honey & Leather and Warm Flannel. Each fragrance oils is nuanced, sophisticated and perfect for the upcoming months. For a limited time, receive 2 ounces of each fragrance for under $15. Click here for more information.

I introduced these four fragrances LIVE on Thursday. I gave my color palette suggestions as well as related product ideas. You can watch that 28 minute video here. These four fragrance oils were chosen out of hundreds of fall scents. We tested each fragrance in several different batches of cold process soap, to make sure they are tried-and-true and didn’t perform poorly. We found that all of these fragrances behaved awesome in cold process soap, with only some mild acceleration. Read more about each fragrance oil below.

I was so inspired by these new fragrances that I created Pinterest boards for each, along with a custom color palette. You can find all the boards on my Pinterest page. If you make projects with these fragrances, I would love to see them. Share them on the Bramble Berry Facebook page and on Instagram with the hashtag #SoapShare. I can’t wait to see your projects!

  1. Love the Pinterest boars and the great rundown of each FO.
Sad that I’m unable to get the video to work….could be because of using an Apple computer.
Will this video come out on Soap Queen TV?
    Thanks so much!

  2. Looking forward to trying Honey & Leather! One question: Will these fragrances be available only seasonally? Or will they become part of your permanent collection? Thanks in advance!

  3. I have a question about an ingredient to make gelee type lip and cheek stains.
I saw this product in sephora (celebrity product line) and I thought wow how do you make something like that? This product has (coconut water and argan oil )in it but I can think of what makes this( gelee) is is very clear and looks like jello .
It probably is not a traditional emulsifying wax because they leave a (creamy texture), but it needs something to emulsify the coconut water and oils together.
Does anyone have any idea of what it could be?

    1. Look up the Eye Gel recipe here on Soapqueen. Maybe you can adapt it somehow using color. There’s another one, Under eye gel I think.
It uses Cera Bellina wax, that gives that gelled consistency.

      1. Thank you dawnia that’s a great idea I’m definitely going to try that recipe and use a red or orange oxide.

    2. That’s a great idea Dawnia, thanks so much! You may also like this Rosy Red Lip Gloss tutorial, which has cera bellina wax: https://soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/lip-products/rosy-red-lip-gloss/

It has a glossy, shiny texture that feels great on the lips. 🙂

If you do use the Argan and Ginseng Eye Serum recipe, keep in mind ginseng extract is not lip safe. You can leave it out or replace it with a lip safe extract, like aloe extract.

    3. I have used straight Labcolors – the Fuscia one – as cheek stain so I’m betting that the product that you’ve tried is a FD & C based colorant (which is water soluble and not oil soluble). Cera Bellina wax is definitely a great place to start(over beeswax) to make a jelly like substance – and then from there, it’s just a matter of getting the water soluble Labcolor to fully mix in.

  4. This rustic collection makes me want to make potpourri, (perfect fall project).I’m definitely going to purchase each scent to try.
