How much does 1 tbsp of walnuts and loofah weigh? Thanks!

1 tablespoon of Shredded Loofah is going to weigh about .1 oz. and 1 tablespoon of ground walnuts is going to weigh about .6 oz. I hope this helps! =)

Has anyone else had a problem with the layers separating after a day or so? Mine did and I’m not sure what I did wrong. I used rubbing alcohol liberally and followed the time allotments between the layers.
Hi K! When you were pouring your layers, did you spray right before you poured them? It is important to spray the layers when they are fresh so that you can get them to stick together. You don’t want to wait to long or let it dry overnight. 🙂

The Loofah? Supposedly it was shipped from Egypt last week so we’re hoping it will be here any day. Fingers crossed! =) You could do something else in that layer though. What about pumice? https://www.brambleberry.com/Pumice-P4067.aspx or the White Jojoba beads? https://www.brambleberry.com/White-Jojoba-Beads-Large-P4397.aspx I think this makes a great exfoliating soap for anyone BUT it is incredibly scrubby. It might be a bit aggressive for say, inner thighs or some more delicate areas.
This soap was fun to make and easy. any suggestions for making this with fall essences or holiday scents that blend well and arent over powering.
These soaps would be fun with different shades of red or green. I’m thinking Peppermint. Or Maybe Peppermint mixed with Vanilla?

I ordered the kit, made the soaps. They all sold the first time I had them out. One of my little bottles was not in the package , but I had lemongrass and made on of the layers with that. It smelled so good. Just like the grass just after you cut it.

can i mix the bases from the bulk 25 block. I have both the clear and goat milk. All I would need is the shea.
I have the square tray mold and love being able to make so many bars at one time, but my mold bows up in the middle so all of the bars are lopsided (except for the center one which is flat, but much thinner than the rest). By any chance do you have any suggestions on how to flatten out the mold?
I am definitely going to have to get some of the grass stain FO–I LOVE the smell of fresh cut grass!
Wearing dish gloves, soak the mold in super hot water then you can either bend the mold back in place or put a small book on top of the mold as it cools.
Hint: Boiling water will melt the mold so make sure it’s hot water, not boiling.
