Our Stocking Stuffer Kits are this year’s simple solution for making coordinated gift ensembles! Choose from two different fragrance combinations – sweet or spicy – to make candles, lotions and salt scrubs for your friends, family and co-workers. It’s a great gift giving solution in a last minute pinch.

You can purchase the kit of just get the individual ingredients. Below are 2 of my favorite basic recipes.

More liquid recipe blend:
4 tbs. Sweet Almond Oil
Dryer recipe blend:
2 tbs. Sweet Almond Oil
4 oz. Dead Sea Salt
2 ml Fragrance Oil
In a small mixing bowl, combine your Dead Sea Salt, Sweet Almond Oil and Fragrance Oil. Once fully mixed together, use a spoon to fill up a 4 ounce plastic container. Screw on the lid and add your label (templates for the design above are included with the kit). Really, that’s all there is to it! Feel free to use your imagination and create your own recipe!
Looking for something spicy and sophisticated? Try the Mandarin & Myrrh with Wassail kit. If you have a sweet tooth (like me), then the Clementine Cupcake with Chipotle Caramel is the kit for you. Either kit will be a winner for the 2009 Holidays!
Psst: The Bramble Berry newsletter went out today! If you didn’t get it, let me know and I’ll forward you my copy. I wouldn’t want you to miss out on the specials or the free label template.

  1. Hello Anne-Marie,
I have a question whether it is still possible to get the link to the gorgeous label in this post? Unfortunately, I didn’t know about your website in 2009. My email: [email protected]. Thank you!

  2. What color is the dead sea salt on the Bramble Berry site? The recipe above using dead sea salt makes it look white but the pics on the Bramble Berry sight look like they are pink.

Ahummm, now I have two newsletters about Eco-Awesome Earth Day Candles in my in box, hihi. I guess you are urging me to make these very soon, Anne-Marie, lol…?!

  6. I suppose I'm too late, but I try nevertheless. Is it still possible to receive the newsletter? I think I've lost it during the period I was in hospital last year. You've sent me another one I'd lost also, which I appreciated very much! Zala : [email protected]

  7. Kelly and Marina, Great! I'll make sure you get a copy of the email and that you are signed up for the newsletter successfully. Thanks!

  8. Hello Anne- Marie,

I've been watching all your videos about soaping. I am a handcrafted soap artist , I started soaping for my daughter's birthday party and I couln't stop anymore.

Today, I found the soap-queen blogspot and I would like to get the label templates, since I missed the Bramble Berry newsletter out.

I'll be following your classes and blog. It is wonderful!!!!I learnd a lot from you and my family had a lot of fun with the double pouring!!!

    Sincerely,

  9. Anon, I just need to have your email address to send you your newsletter.

Amanda, Tonya – yes, I'll check to make sure you're both signed up and forward you a copy of the newsletter on Monday.

Amy, the scrub should last for a minimum of one year if not longer (assuming you use Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil – or another long-shelf-life oil). There is some debate about using preservatives. In theory, since there is no water in the scrub, you do not need it. However, wet hands will likely be using the scrub – introducing bacteria and germs into the scrub – so if you wanted to be ultra safe, you could use preservative (Phenonip) at 1% by weight.

  10. I am going to try out this scrub right away. Any idea on how long it should be good for? I would love to give some away but should I add a preservative?

  11. Anne-Marie-
Have you ever reverse engineered a home made recipe for dry shampoo? I am looking for one. It would be a big hit as a stocking stuffer in my family as all the ladies have long hair and recycle their blow outs for a couple of days.

  12. Thanks for asking the question Anon and thanks Anne-Marie for the reply! I don't have dead sea salt but lots of raw sugar, you do mean you may end up needing more sugar so that the mixture holds together, right? Thank so much for the recipe, we're doing a Secret Santa at work and this is perfectly timed! Along with some Sleigh Ride CP soap, and perhaps a bit of lotion if I get that far!
I also LOVE the hairspray/glitter idea, I just realised I also have some latte stencils, and I could use those too (since I don't use them for latte, they were bought for a present which never eventuated! Yay for me!)
Thanks again for all you show us!!! Learning all the time.

  13. Hi Soap Queen Readers,

Yes, you should have those emails in your inBox right now. If you haven't gotten them, let me know and I'll resend from another account.

Anon, Yes, definitely! You can sub raw sugar. You may end up with a little more sugar when you do it because the grains are a bit smaller than the fine grained sea salt so don't be surprised if you end up with a little less oil than the recipe calls for.

    Ouch! Paper cuts =(

  14. Is it possible to substitute raw sugar for the salt in the salt scrub recipe? I get a lot of paper cuts and when I use salt scrubs, well, they burn…
    (Thank you)
