We have been working on something behind the scenes for month and we can’t hold back any longer. We’re going 3-D! Or rather, our molds are. Our brother company (really a brother company since my little brother runs it), SoapMolds.com is pleased to announce that we have purchased the entire Heavy Duty 3-D Mold line from Spinning Leaf Inc.

What this means to you:

Bramble Berry and SoapMolds.com will sell the ENTIRE line of 3-D molds (previously, we had a little less than half) with more secure stocking and bulk rate (wholesale) options for sales.

Projects we’ve done with the 3-D molds in the past:

Heart Valentine 3-D Molds
Alien Head Soap
Loofah Soap on a Rope
Soap on a Rope – Basic Instructions
3-D Molds – Trimming
3-D Molds – Layering & Coloring Detail
3-D Molds – Pouring & Fill Line

Official Press Release after the jump

Brambleberry.com is pleased to announce the purchase of an exquisite line of 3-D soap molds, originally produced by Spinning Leaf. Says founder Anne-Marie Faiola, “Purchasing the 3-D soap molds portion of Spinning Leaf is the culmination of a 3 year plan for SoapMolds.com and Bramble Berry. Since entering the soap molds market, we’ve enjoyed it immensely and are thrilled about this purchase.”
Bramble Berry has carried the Spinning Leaf line of soap molds under the name “Heavy Duty Molds” (so called because the plastic used in the Spinning Leaf line is heavier than traditional soap mold plastic) for over seven years with excellent sales and customer comments.
R. DeLouis, a customer of Bramble Berry’s retail store, Otion says, “I really like the 3-D molds because I can easily charge a $1 premium on the soaps. The curved backs really make them look unique and upscale.”
Bramble Berry has a separate company that designs and manufactures soap molds. That company, ELF Industrial (named after her younger brother’s nickname) operates out of a 2400 square foot warehouse in the Industrial District of Bellingham, WA to manufacture an entire line of soap and chocolate molds. ELF Industrial has a full table CNC machine and two vacuum forming machines.Their website for custom design work is www.SoapMolds.com
ELF Industrial Manager, Erik Faiola, states, “We are so excited to add this to our line of wholesale mold options and we’re up for the challenge of producing an additional 66 designs.”
Bramble Berry will be selling the molds at www.brambleberry.com and through select distributors through the United States and Canada.
For more information about ELF, please contact ELF Industrial Manager, Erik Faiola at 360.671.0201 For additional information about Bramble Berry’s new acquisition, please contact Anne-Marie Faiola at 360-734-8278.

    1. Good morning, Reham!

Our 3D molds are pretty easy to use and make some of the best soaps that I’ve made. Here is a Soap Queen TV episode on how to create soap in a 3D mold:

  1. Aw, you guys are sweet! I’m getting ready (writing scripts now) for a 3-D
mold, soap on a rope tutorial for SoapQueen.TV I’ll be filming it 7+ months
pregnant so I’m hoping I can still fit behind that table! =)

  2. Woot! Thanks I just love your site! All the women around me now just love you! You are the best! It’s sort of scarey but this is how it goes here… if you will…imagine a group of older ladies all glued to one monitor watching your videos…all obssessed and ready to fully pounce on anyone that dares to interrupt! Keep ’em coming!
    Lizza

  3. Yes! All of them. We did not receive any of the inventory with the Purchase and the rope company (that made the rope itself) went out of business at the same time we bought it (terrible timing). But we’ve sourced new rope and now just need color samples before we commit to the huge amounts we need to buy. 🙂

    Happy Soaping!

  4. Hi! I just want to know if you are going to be carrying any more ropes? I got the wine colored one. The only other ones are pinkish! Not so good when you figure in I have two sons! I’m new to soap making and so I have just discovered your 3-d molds. I want ropes! Oh yes Happy Holidays! Thanks!

  5. We are going to do a whole series of blog posts on layering, swirling and
double coloring with these molds in the upcoming months. In fact, I have a
    few going right now =)

  6. Erik does a great job running the retail store and learning the ropes for
    the new mold company. =)

  7. Love the headliner samples! They remind me of our trips to Maine- lobster weights/buoys. How about a word or two about the sumptuous coloring and techniques for the gorge layering, AnneMarie?

  8. Thanks! We try to be the one stop shopping place and resource for all things
    soaps and toiletry related =)

  9. Oh it is ADORABLE! It’s on the High Priority list to start producing the
second all the dies get to us.

  10. Thanks Erin! We are SO excited to get the dies into our hot little hands and
start producing these super cool molds and ropes.

  11. Congrats Anne Marie! You never cease to amaze and dazzle! We create our future with every step we make in the direction of our dreams. xoxo Erin

  12. Congratulations! More than ever, Bramble Berry is THE place to get everything for soapmaking!!
