Stevie from Bramble Berry customer service just made her first batch of cold process soap. Bells and Whistles for Stevie! She did a great job, that’s her standing next to me as I teach the swirling technique. It was a 3 in 1 type of operation: I tested a fragrance for a customer, taught Stevie how to make soap and tested our new Mini Baltic Birch Mold (the shipment should  be here next week – squealing with glee)!
Swirling
My creation
Here’s a sneak peak of the new mold! Isn’t it the cutest thing ever? It makes 9 bars of soap and holds a 2-3 pound recipe. One thing I found is that you really need to use a small spatula or chopstick to do swirls in this smaller size mold; the regular size spatula seemed to overwhelm the design.Join our Facebook Fan Page or follow me on Twitter to find out the minute they are on the Bramble Berry site and ready for sale! We’ll have them up and ready to go next week. Looking for the larger Baltic Birch Molds? Check them out HERE.
