The grand opening of Otion’s Crafter’s Corner last week on May 8 was an exciting success. The team at Otion worked hard to set up the new crafting space, and completely reset the store as well! Now that Crafter’s Corner is up and running, anyone can come in and start making their own lip balm, nail polish, bath bombs and more right in the store. Kit prices range from $10 to $20 and come with instructions and all the supplies to make and take home fully finished projects. You can read more about Crafter’s Corner on Otion’s blog.

The Corner is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sundays by appointment. Scroll to the bottom of the post for a full list of kits you can buy and make at Crafter’s Corner. Otion is Bramble Berry’s official retail outlet located at 301 W. Holly St. in Bellingham, Wash.

Lily is growing so quickly. She had a great time exploring Otion.

Otion’s clean and crisp new Crafter’s Corner. I was impressed with their functional new set up.

The store underwent a complete reset to accommodate the new corner. The racks with all the fragrances have been rearranged, repainted and reorganized.

Lily “helped” put away a few molds.

Otion also hosts weekly DIY soap & toiletry classes. The classes cover a wide range of soapy techniques. They also have their own blog full of fun soapy projects and tutorials.

I can just see it in her eyes — she is totally planning her next soapy project =)

There are currently 4 projects available to make at the Corner. They range from melt & pour projects to lip balms and bath fizzies, and the friendly Otion staff will be on hand to help you through projects or answer any questions. Happy crafting!
